In 1995, in the administration building of the city Shropshire the fire happened. In one of the photos its consequences, among the flames, in the doorway stood a young girl.

The picture was taken by Tony O Rahilly (Tony O Rahilly), a farm worker, who was fond of photography. He was standing across the street in the crowd, watching the fire in the town hall.

This image is one of the most compelling evidence for the existence of ghosts. However, 15 years later this fact was questioned.

Here is a brief translation of the continuation of the story from the source specified in the article.

Brian Lear (Brian Lear), 77-year-old retired engineer from Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury), noticed the resemblance of the girl the Ghost of a young girl with postcards of 1920.

He drew attention to this image accidentally when I read the nostalgia column in the local newspaper.

A small addition

Indeed, the similarity of these two girls is amazing. In order to verify their similarity, we tried to move the girl with the cards (left image) surrounded by pictures from the Ghost to compare it with the original (rightmost image).

The card, printed in the newspaper, clearly of lower quality than was taken by Tony O Rahilly. The girl's face is almost indistinguishable, with this dress, proportion of body parts and even the shape of the locks of hair are extremely similar.

Thus, with high probability it can be argued that an Amateur photographer Tony O Rahilly really forged the legendary photo girls-Ghost of the town hall. Most likely, this photo was taken by structural alteration, similar to the way "photographing ghosts" William Mumler (XIX century), when manually cut out the negatives of the parts needed and glued them, and then retake or reprinted pictures change the exposure using filters. In this case, one photograph superimposed semi-transparent "Ghost" on the other, older photos.
