The man parked his car near a local cemetery and was trying to sleep when he saw something running in front of the car, making a loud noise.
He saw a creature that looked very much like an ostrich, but with a head shaped like a horse. The creature sounded very loud and aggressive.
The witness stuck the revolver in his belt and just sat in the car for a couple of minutes before deciding to find another place to park and spend the night.
(This is very similar to the modern description of " The Devil from Jersey").

(It sounds very much like a modern day “Jersey Devil description?).
