The witness, Gulmira Askarovna Zhumasheva, went with her sister to swim in the local river when she noticed a strange creature walking along its banks.
It was described as short, with long arms and a body covered in yellow fur. When the creature noticed the witnesses, it made a strange sound, like a child. There was no noticeable smell from the creature, and it crawled away on all fours.
Both women were in shock after the incident.
