On October 1, between 19: 30 and 20: 15, the main witness, Thelma Landers, three other adults and two teenagers watched several orange-and-white spheres, small glowing disks, red lights and an air triangle the size of a football field, which moved at the level of the treetops without sound.
A red ray of light from the triangle hit Thelma's face, which was confused and shocked.
The next moment of her awareness was the moment when the object was about a mile away from her. At the same time, she noticed an ominous silence in the area, even the crickets from the nearest swamp could not be heard; she also felt a very strong breeze in her face.
Witnesses noted that the red lights seemed to be trying to get away from the glowing white disks, as if they were participating in some kind of "conflict".
Another interesting fact noted by eyewitnesses was that as soon as the black triangle disappeared from the field of view, 2 military aircraft appeared and flew in the opposite direction from the place where the triangle disappeared.
The next night (October 2), Thelma's dog woke her up and started growling (a very unusual behavior for this animal). She got up, opened the curtain a little and saw two bright heads or figures standing one in front of the other, apparently standing in the courtyard near the air conditioner. The dog kept growling and looking in the direction of the detachment.
