It was about 22: 30, my friend and I were walking around my house, we turned the corner, and there was this unusual bright red light in the distance ahead of us. in the sky moving from north to south, it was to the west of us. our first thought was ... well, it's a plane or even a helicopter, since we were not far from Dublin airport. But we have both seen a variety of planes flying at night, and none of them has such powerful navigation lights.
We watched the object as we walked, and noticed that it was now more orange in color and continued to move from north to south at the same pace, and now it began to become less bright, disappear. after a minute or two, it disappeared, a tiny dot in the sky disappeared. This is the 4th time I have seen such lights in the sky over Dublin.

Summary: It was about 22:30 my friend and i where walking too my house, we rounded a corner and in front of us in the distance was this unusual bright red light in the sky moving north to south, it was west of us. our first thought was immediately.. ok that’s an airplane or even a helicopter since we where near dublin airport, but we’ve both seen all kinds of planes fly around at night and none have nav lights that powerful. we watched the object as we walked and noticed it was now more an orange colour and was keeping its same pace moving north to south and had now started becoming less bright, fading out. after a minute or two it was gone a tiny dot in the sky then gone. its the 4th time seeing similar lights in the sky over dublin
