On September 26, the author of the original material met with Ken Klingbell, a resident of Sudbury, who was shooting and photographing UFOs from his balcony on Burton Avenue, giving him a beautiful view of the sky over the Frood Road-LaSalle extension area.

Since 2012, he has taken some pretty interesting photos, some of which show very strange images from the air, which he could not explain.

In one case, the photo is very similar to the stripes of multicolored lights that Dorothy Izatt from Vancouver, British Columbia, who were shown in an episode of "Unsolved Mysteries" back in the late 1980s.

[Note that the bright green and blue dots in some photos are pixels on the camera lens, NOT UFOs!]

This series of photos was taken on September 13, 2013. The time exposure was slightly longer than usual, which allowed the photographer to capture the plane in flight as it passed by the object. And in the last frame he captured a group of maneuvering objects with a shutter speed of 9 seconds!

Location: Sudbury, Ontario

On September 26, I visited with Ken Klingbell, a Sudbury resident who has been filming - and taking photographs of UFOs - from his balcony at his residence off Burton Avenue, giving him a perfect view of the sky above the Frood Road-Lasalle extension area. Since 2012, he has taken some pretty interesting photos, some of which seem to show very strange aerial displays which I cannot explain. In one case, the photo is very similar to the streaks of coloured lights that Dorothy Izatt of Vancouver, B.C. has filmed, which was featured on an episode of Unsolved Mysteries, back in the late 1980s. Here are some of the best photos in chronological order:

This series of photos were taken on September 13, 2013. The time exposure was a bit longer than normal,
allowing the photographer to capture a plane in flight as it passed the object. And in the last frame, he
captured a group of objects maneuvering within an exposure time of 9 seconds!

The heavenly bodies

The brightest heavenly bodies in the sky are Venus, Jupiter, and sometimes Mars and, of course, the Moon.

Venus is the bright yellow of the evening or morning star, shining in the sky on the background of evening or dawn. Maximum brightness of Venus can reach up to 4.3 m, and she is the third brightness of the sun in earth's sky after the sun and the moon. It so well reflects the light of the Sun that it is relatively easy to see and day, especially if you know the location. It manifests itself in the form of tiny blinking white dots.

Objects in motion, captured on a long exposure

Most often this artifact is called skayfish if the lens gets a passing bird or insect. It is based on the discrepancy between the speed of the video and the frequency of the flapping of insect wings. Essentially, each video drops a few strokes of the wings of an insect, which when viewed looks like "arrow", provided with long protuberances. The motion of the insect by its translucent body seems to "boom" and vibration of the wings give the appearance of bumps.
