Chupacabra. Russia

On March 8, 2015, a resident of the village of Belgaz (Atkarsky district) V.A. Darr was returning home from the district center in his VAZ-2110 car. A resident of the same village, V.A. Kalyagina, was traveling with him. Not reaching about a hundred meters to Belgaza, next to the stele, a man and a woman saw some strange creature running across the road to them. Most of all, people were amazed that it moved with huge jumps that reached two meters in length and forty centimeters in height. At first, Darr and Kalyagina thought that a fox was in front of them, but very soon realized that they were mistaken.

The animal had a dirty yellow color and a length of about sixty centimeters. It was racing at high speed ten to fifteen meters from the car. The body was not thick, resembling the configuration of a "sausage", the legs were short. At the end of a flat half-meter, at the end of a narrowed tail there was a brush. The face of the beast did not look like a fox, a dog, or a cat. It was as if cut directly.

The animal was moving from the grazing field towards the river and soon disappeared into the bushes. The next day, passing through the same place, Viktor Adamovich Darr and a friend stopped to examine the tracks clearly distinguishable in the snow. They turned out to be three-fingered, elongated and had a diameter of about six centimeters. There was an impressive distance between the tracks: on the road – two meters, and on the snow–covered virgin land - a little less. The beast was rushing at a run, jumping.

Viktor Adamovich's daughter found images of animals on the Internet in the evening, which are called the Latin American word "Chupacabra". After reviewing them, they found a similar creature called the "Texas Chupacabra". However, his ribs are clearly visible in the picture, while the "Belgazinsky monster" looks quite well-fed. The color of both is completely the same.

Intrigued, Viktor Adamovich turned to the hunter-trackers with a request to examine the tracks. But they immediately said that it rained around two o'clock in the morning on March 9, and then the sun shone all day, which probably melted the tracks. According to these shapeless pits, even the depth can be determined only approximately.

It should be said that this event is not the first in the Atkarsky district of the Saratov region, which locals associate with the mysterious chupacabra. For example, last year, rabbits started disappearing from one of the owners in the summer. After that, we managed to see the attacker himself - however, from afar. The animal also had a small stature. Perhaps they are cubs, and the "parent" is still hiding from human eyes.
