The Alien. Latvia

The case of landing and contact of a group of people with UFO pilots, which occurred on October 23, 1980 in the Ogre district, not far from Lichupe. This message fell within the framework of the GRID-AN program from the archive of the Institute of Atmospheric Physics and Astrophysics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and was investigated quite seriously.

Here is what R. Avdeeva writes in her explanatory letter to the above-mentioned case of 1980:

"I am standing with my daughter in my arms and my mother is next to me, and three men of medium height, slender, in silver-colored overalls are approaching us. On their heads, they have silver helmets with visors in front. I didn't see the faces, I also didn't see what shoes were on my feet and what was on my hands."

Ruta Alexandrovna Avdeeva from Riga described what happened to her in a letter to the Institute of Atmospheric Physics and Astrophysics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR:

"On October 23, 1980, I was traveling by regular bus Riga-Lubany. I got off the bus at about 6.30 pm at the first stop outside the village. Marriages (Ogre district, Mazozolsky village Council, the central estate of the Oshkalny state farm). I noticed that from Riga (approximately from the west), bands of clouds stretched across the sky, which became wider towards the east.

It was getting dark fast. I followed the path through the forest to my mother's house (about 1 km).

Suddenly, when I came out of the forest into a clearing, I saw a vision: I was standing with my daughter in my arms and my mother next to me, and three men of medium height, slender, in silver-colored overalls were approaching us. On their heads they have silver helmets with visors in front. I didn't see any faces, and I also didn't see what shoes were on my feet and what was on my hands.

In my mind, I then told my mother: “Don't be afraid, these are astronauts, they won't do anything bad to us, because we have no evil against them.” The vision disappeared very quickly (seconds), everything was quiet and empty. I did not attach any importance to this vision and hurried on, because I still had to walk through the forest ahead, it became even darker.

Entering the forest, on the right, between the trees, I saw a bright light, which was very bright in the very center, but around it was less bright. It resembled an electric light. In addition, this light was oval in shape and had a clear border about 10 meters high. The light source was located about 0.5 km away from me, on the right, in a forest in a clearing where reclamation work had already begun earlier, but due to high humidity, work was stopped and all equipment was taken away.

I was walking on and after a few minutes I heard a noise that reminded me of the noise of a high-flying passenger plane. The noise was heard from the same side where I saw the light.

Then, coming out of the forest again into the clearing, in the east, above the tops of the forest, I saw a bright disk, larger than the sun (about twice as large), around which there was an even brighter small halo. At the same time, I noticed that strange bands of clouds stretched across the entire sky from west to east, and the disk disappeared into the clouds. At the same time, he illuminated the cloud on the right side with pink light, and on the left, the clouds seemed to be on him.

All this happened from about 18.45 to 19.00."

The appearance of the vision was complex. At first, she saw (as if from the side, from point 1) a group in which she, her mother and the child were standing in their arms (1 year and 4 months). It stands in a green clearing near the trees. The lighting is daytime and it feels like it's happening in summer. Although he doesn't remember what everyone was wearing.

Then a group of "cosmonauts" appeared, exactly appeared, although she says they came up, but she does not remember the movements of her legs. 

I got a good look at the one closest to her (10-15 m) as if from the side, the rest were, as she says, in the shade, but from the details she remembers only a "helmet with a visor" and something strange on her feet. It is a helmet, not a helmet. I remind her of the strange lapels of denim trousers on her legs ("the silver suit turns into something white at the bottom"). When the vision disappeared (it happened instantly), her gaze seemed to be directed in the direction from which she later saw the light (approximately along the stream). She claims that she did not feel fear at the same time and did not attach much importance to the appearance of the vision at all, although this had never happened to her before. "she was in a hurry to get home" is her main motive for behavior.

He claims that this vision does not resemble a dream in any way, but he cannot really explain how it differs from it.
