An eyewitness from Heemskerk (North Holland) noticed a pink-red dot, similar to a star, next to the Moon.

He's writing:

A pink-red dot, like a star, stopped next to the moon. After a few seconds, it disappeared, but returned and flashed, but now in a yellow-white light, then turned pink-red again and first moved to the north and then disappeared at high speed, moving to the east.

I made a video on my phone from the first seconds after that it was difficult to follow since the object was going in several directions.
