In the early fall of 1971, a white Ford pickup truck pulled up to a pasture near Ponca City, Oklahoma, and stopped at the gate. Karl, Mark and Gordon, three employees of a local company selling livestock feed, came to this wilderness to pick up a feeder. And after that, for 41 years, they didn't tell anyone about what happened.

"We opened the gates made of barbed wire, there was no lock on them, and we drove in," Karl begins his story– "There are private properties all around, the grass is higher than the hood of the truck." They made their way through the tall grass to the feeding trough next to the red barn, and then got out of the car. "We saw that the feeder was almost half full and too heavy for loading. We decided to leave it in place for now and turned around the red barn. And here in front of us is a large two-story white house, with darkness in the windows."

The three of them returned to the company, and the boss promised them to clean the feeder so that they could pick it up tomorrow.

"The next evening we arrive at the place to pick up the feeder," Karl continues, "But this time we decided to walk around the big old white house on the hill and took weapons with us." Having entered the territory, they moved along the road they had already laid in the grass. We loaded the feeder into the car, then turned behind the barn. What they saw was etched into the memory of a lifetime.

"He was no longer there," says Karl– - "We climbed the hill where he was standing, and did not notice any signs of destruction, no foundation, nothing at all. The house that we all seemed to have seen the night before just disappeared. We have been thinking and talking about this for many years, but none of us has even come close to explaining what we dreamed."

Were these people eyewitnesses of the time jump?

Evidence of time jumps has been recorded throughout history. So, in 1901, British women vacationing in France claimed that they had visited the era of the Great French Revolution. In the 1970s, while traveling in Spain, two English married couples stayed in a strange archaic hotel, but on the way back they failed to do this – the hotel simply disappeared.

Physicists from Albert Einstein to Michio Kaku and Stephen Hawking claim that time travel is theoretically possible, but modern science is not yet able to. But what if nature can do it?

There was a dazzling white light in the sky, unlike the green and red lights that Jake had seen in 2004. Then the unusual northern lights could be observed in North America up to the southern latitudes of the lower Midwest.

Around 10 p.m. on May 28, 2004, Jake, 15, was standing outside his parents' home in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, leaning against a truck and looking at the lights. He didn't know that his life was about to change.

"A bright white light suddenly filled the northern part of the horizon," Jake recalls. – "He was completely different from the northern lights, and behaved differently." The light moved like a copier. A single bright ray swept from west to east overhead and disappeared. "I thought maybe it would be better to go into the house to wait, but I couldn't move."

His arms and legs also went numb, and Jake lost consciousness. When he woke up, he knew he had been somewhere else.

"I felt drunk, almost passed out," says Jake. "It's like time got lost in my head." He went into the house and was told that only an hour had passed. "I spent most of the night telling my parents what happened, and most of that time I kept saying that, in my opinion, the calendar is wrong, it should show 2008, not earlier. Even today, my mom can remember something about that day, especially the way I looked at her and asked point-blank: "Is the president black?""

What happened to Jake? A seizure? A psychological incident? Or did Jake accidentally glance four years ahead into 2008 for a moment?

Jake's jump is just an episode from a number of stories shared by people who have touched another time. For example, the pilot of the British Air Force, Sir Victor Goddard, in 1935 saw planes that appeared only four years later, in 1939. Or the story of a 100-year-old Swiss watch found in the grave of the Chinese Ming Dynasty. Perhaps people make such jumps all the time.

Kell opened the door of his 1999 Chevrolet S-10 near a gas station store in Springfield, Missouri, when a large-built man approached him.

"When I came out of the gas station, some huge man with a melon-like head dressed in a business suit shouted, 'What year is it now?'" says Kell.

On the way out of the store, Kell passed by the place where the man was standing now, only then there was no one there.

"The man was dressed in a dark black suit "with a rough fiber texture," recalls Kell– - "Things of the style that Teddy Roosevelt could have worn."

"What year is it now?" the man shouted again.

He was white, about 35-40 years old, clean-shaven, seemingly normal, but asking a strange question.

Kell replied, "Two thousand and three." Anger distorted the man's face.

"What year is it now?" he kept shouting. "Again I said, "2003". The big man shouted the question again. "I said, '2003 so he could hear me,'" Kell said. " 'He didn't ask anymore.'

Kell turned his back, ducking into his truck. Inside, he felt safe and looked out again to take another look at the man. But he was gone.

"He was standing in front of the gas station and disappeared," Kell said. In the couple of seconds it took Kell to slip into his truck, the man simply disappeared.

Kell looked closely to see if he had entered the store–the only place to get to in such a short period of time. But the man really disappeared.

"Such stories are not as rare as they seem," says Kell, "but they are so strange that I'm not sure anyone would voluntarily want to tell them. Who will believe you?"
