Initial data
An eyewitness from the city of Neukerk (Gelderland) reports that a spherical object is moving at a fixed speed through the clouds against the wind direction:
On May 19, at 0:20 a.m., I suddenly saw a glowing ball moving from west to east. I didn't hear the noise of the plane, it was moving quite fast, purposefully, in a fixed direction with a fixed speed and was so low to the ground that at times it was not visible due to low clouds.
Satellites or the ISS, it seems to me, are much higher, and if it were an airplane, I would certainly hear it. The object was spherical and seemed to emit light rather than reflect it: then I could observe the contour/edges of the object.
Is it a wish balloon that moves at a very constant speed? Or a UFO?
I was alone and in the garden, and there was almost no wind. The wind direction was the opposite, because just before that I was studying the clouds visible at that time. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take a photo with my phone.
Original news
Hypotheses
Satellite
Ordinary satellites, which often look like single, not very bright luminous dots moving smoothly in the night sky, are quite often mistaken for UFOs. After the Starlink satellites (near-Earth satellite systems developed by SpaceX, in order to create a cheap and high-performance satellite Internet communication channel and technical transmitters for receiving and transmitting signals from earth and orbit) were launched, it became possible to observe groups of satellites (up to 60 pieces) flying one after another.
