Initial data
A Canadian resident filmed a huge figure standing on top of a mountain, and then said that this strange sight was the reason that he became a target for the CIA.
It is reported that this very strange case began earlier this year when Andrew Dawson and his friend were driving to work in the province of Alberta. Their usual routine trip took a strange turn when he noticed something unusual protruding from the massive Whistler's Peak Mountain in the distance. During the shooting, Dawson asked his friend what he saw, and he answered with surprise:
"It's a man, man."
Although his interlocutor expressed understandable skepticism about what he had just been told, the anomaly captured on Dawson's video does look like a rather large figure inexplicably standing on a mountain. When these images were later published on TikTok, the puzzling video gained more than two million views and marked the beginning of a rather strange saga in which a young man was trying to figure out a mysterious figure who, according to some, could be a snowman. Over the next few weeks, Dawson shared new details of this curious incident (which can be seen on the video), including a return to the mountain, where he revealed that the figure had mysteriously disappeared.
As Dawson continued to investigate this observation, he began to suspect more and more that he had accidentally stumbled upon something that he should not have seen. In one of the subsequent videos, he tried to visit the mountain again, but he was rudely refused by a certain representative of the authorities, who informed him that this place was closed to the public. Surprisingly, the young man began to think that he was being watched by representatives of the CIA. The climax was that Dawson, with a very nervous look, presented another message in which he stated that all his videos were a hoax and "solely for entertainment," while he nervously looked away from the camera, as if someone in the room was watching him.
As expected, this unusual act of Dawson caused a lot of speculation: many wondered if his confession was true or if he was forced to make this revealing statement. Some viewers suggested that his original "giant" video was genuine and that the young man either really caused the anger of the notorious "powers that be", or he was so overcome by paranoia that he believed it.
Meanwhile, skeptical people claim that this whole story is one continuous fabrication, stretched over several weeks in the format of a series on TikTok, so that viewers come back for a sequel.
Hypotheses
Deliberate falsification
This version includes any falsifications that imitate unexplained phenomena both from the outside: practical jokes, flash mobs, fake news, witness fraud, staging, etc.
There are many ways to make something similar to a ghost or a flying saucer from improvised materials, without using video and photomontage.
Many homemade things made for the sake of a joke, a practical joke or a direct imitation of a mystical being or event can be taken as unexplained not only in photos and videos, but also in reality.
Devices and structures
This version includes all things, structures, devices used in everyday life. Such things can often be mistaken for something paranormal because of their rarity, strangeness or deformation during operation.
Also, this version can include devices and workwear of people used for certain needs (diving suit, fire suit, etc.)
Investigation
In the comments to the video, it was suggested that this is a communications tower (perhaps even portable for temporary deployment if necessary).
