Spots of light in the sky and a bright red shooting star were seen over The Hague.

An eyewitness writes:

At first, my attention was attracted by a strange glowing spot in the sky. It was a clear evening, but it seemed that the clouds were illuminated from below. This spot of light appeared, stayed there for a few minutes, and then went out again.

After searching for about 35 minutes, a flash of light suddenly flashed to his left. It had the same speed and direction as the shooting star, but was bright red.

The flash of light was too fast to be captured, but I took some photos and videos of the light spot. (green dots or photos are highlights)

Lichtvlekken in de lucht en felrode vallende ster

DEN HAAG, ZH — Mijn aandacht viel in eerste instantie op een vreemde lichtvlek in de lucht. Het was een heldere avond, maar toch zag er uit alsof wolken van onderen werden verlicht. Deze lichtvlek verscheen steeds, bleef een paar minuten staan en doofde dan weer. Na ongeveer 35 minuten te hebben gekeken was er links daarvan plotseling een lichtflits. Het had de zelfde snelheid en richting als een vallende ster, maar was felrood. De lichtflits was te snel om te kunnen filmen, maar van de lichtvlek heb ik wel meerdere foto's en videos gemaakt.
