Initial data
Black spheres in the shape of a triangle are seen in El Cajon, California.
The following statement was provided by /u/exporius :
In the afternoon, three black spheres appeared above my apartment complex in El Cajon, California. The objects were unlike balloons, they rotated around each other and, it would seem, were not affected by the wind.
My partner (who is talking about UFOs in the background) agrees that the figures moved in a strange sequence relative to the wind.
They, too, twinkled in the sky, now disappearing, now disappearing from view, not like the metallic reflection of a mylar balloon.
The objects disappeared shortly after my girlfriend forced me to stop filming and go inside. Suddenly, the spheres turned around by about 90 degrees and disappeared.
Very strange. I have no idea what it is.

Black spheres in a triangle formation spotted in El Cajon, CA
The following submission statement was provided by /u/exporius:
Three black spheres appeared overhead my apartment complex in the afternoon in El Cajon, CA. The objects were unlike balloons, rotating around each other and seemingly unaffected by the wind.
My partner, (who is talking in the background about UFO’s) agrees that the shapes were moving in an odd formation relative to the wind.
They were also flickering in the sky, disappearing in and out of visibility, not like a metallic reflection of a Mylar balloon.
The objects disappeared shortly after my girlfriend made me stop filming to go inside. Suddenly, the spheres whipped around about 90 degrees and vanished.
Very strange. I have no idea what these are.
Hypotheses
Investigation
Based on the appearance during movement, these are birds. You can notice a characteristic flicker, which is the flapping of wings.
