Initial data
My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful clear night, stargazing and general conversation at the Airbnb hotel we booked in Napier, New Zealand.
It was on top of a hill overlooking Hawke's Bay. The night was so clear and the stars were so bright. There is almost no light pollution.
The night was a warm, quiet spring night. No wind.
I noticed a strange white glowing ball sliding from west to east. Starting from the land and then gliding over the ocean.
It looked flat, almost two-dimensional. I grabbed my phone to take a video, but through the viewfinder it was just a huge pulsating white ball. Almost through. But with the naked eye, you could see a UFO.
It was the height of a small plane and was clearly visible against the dark night sky.
It wasn't blinking, but it was emitting something like light rods. Here is a rough sketch that I drew the next morning https://imgur.com/gallery/IQPd5sX .
The light rods were fixed, and the colors of the night sky became bright.
At first I thought it was a satellite, but it was too low in the earth's atmosphere.
It was faster than anything I've seen in the sky. When he flew over us, he didn't make a sound. Suddenly, he started behaving erratically, as if he was disappearing and reappearing near the starting point. It started to blink, and then fell down with incredible speed, and then to the left. It disappeared, then returned to its previous course, and then suddenly disappeared again.
That was before he reached the horizon.
I've always believed in life on other planets. My wife, however, has always been a big skeptic. This event made her doubt her reality and still confuses her to this day.

My wife and I were enjoying a beautiful clear night stargazing and having general conversation at an Airbnb we booked in Napier, NewZealand.
It was on the top of a hill overlooking Hawkes Bay. The night was so clear and stars were so bright. There is hardly any light pollution there.
The night was a warm still spring night. No wind whatsoever.
I spotted a strange white light orb gliding from West to East..Starting inland then gliding over the ocean.
It looked flat, almost two dimensional. I grabbed my phone to take a video, but through the view finder it was just a huge pulsating white orb. Almost see through. But to the naked eye, you could see the UFO.
It was the height of a small aircraft and clearly visible against the dark night sky.
It was not flashing, but had what looked like light rods coming from it. Here is a rough sketch I drew of it the next morning https://imgur.com/gallery/IQPd5sX
Tne light rods were fixed and the colours to vivid in the night sky.
At first I thought it wss a satellite, but it was way to low in the earth's atmosphere.
It was faster than anything I have seen in the sky. As it flew overhead of us it did not make a sound. Suddenly it started acting erratic, like disappearing and showing up near its original point. It started to flash and then drop down at incredible speed then to the left. It disappeared and then was back on its course, then all off a sudden disappeared again.
This was before it reached the horizon.
I have always believed in life on other planets. My wife however, has always been a huge sceptic. This event made her question her reality and to this day confuses the shit out of her.

Контрастный объект на однородном фоне
This version can refer to any observation in the contrast of an object on a solid background, both day and night.
Night it can be a light in a dark house, on the technique in a dark room, etc.
Day the color of the sky sometimes merge with the color of the surface of the Earth at the horizon level. While it may seem that the object on this piece, floating in the sky. It is clearly seen, for example, at the marine landscapes. This illusion may occur as in the photos (especially black and white) and by direct observation.
