More than once we tried to write about the unusual that we had to observe, but we did not know where to write to our godfather. and here is an article in the newspaper "Trud" for January 30, 1985. I am Vasiliev Ivan Ivanovich, I am writing on my own behalf, but several people have observed this phenomenon.

We work at the Pervomayskaya poultry farm in the village of Tyamsha, Pskov region. Our production is continuous . I work as a senior boiler room operator. In the morning, at the beginning of the fifth, we left the boiler room with a locksmith from the KNS and involuntarily admired the hitherto unseen spectacle. What we saw, frankly, shocked us. there was a sense of impending anxiety and danger and something incomprehensible and mysterious. It was August 4 last year.

The first thing we saw in the sky to the northeast of us was a small yellowish star, resembling a flying airplane or an artificial satellite of the earth at night.

The asterisk was moving right at us at a pretty decent altitude, and apparently it had not a small speed. From it came a misty light in the form of a huge cone (there was no fog that morning).

The shape of the light cone resembled the light of a pocket flashlight in foggy weather, but only of an unusually large size. A little further away from the brighter glowing cone was a repeat of a similar cone, but less bright. The rays of these cones were strictly parallel to each other and directed towards the Earth. We had a dispute about what we saw, and the "asterisk" suddenly disappeared, but a green spot formed around it in its place. It was bright, even greenish-yellow of some kind, I would say, ominous color. It can probably be compared to a brightly glowing lantern, giving off a slightly green yellowness. As soon as the "asterisk" disappeared, the misty-glowing cones also disappeared. The green spot with yellow outlines at the edges had an oval shape. and so the green spot began to gradually increase in size, change its original shape, and after about an hour, a fairly large space was noticeable. First of all, it began to blur and took the form of a smoking pipe. it was brighter inside than around the edges. The edges of this giant smoking pipe were getting bigger and bigger, and they were uneven, resembling a lot of tails with swirls. After a certain time, the "smoking pipe" became even larger, its edges blurred even more, and it began to sink to the horizon, occupying an increasingly large area. The dawn was already breaking in the east, but the green glow did not disappear, blurring more and more, while losing its already not bright color.

The driver of our poultry farm claimed that at sunrise, the "smoking pipe" stretched out in length and resembled a long thin jet, resembling a reversible trace from an airplane flying at high altitude and turned from green to gray.
