Report on the observation of an unusual phenomenon in the village . Roshchino, Vyborg district, Leningrad region, from a 6th grade student (13 years old) The Rumyantsev Hope.

One day, watching the sky in the courtyard, I saw something unexpected. It happened on September 12, 1985 at 21:50 min.

I saw a big unusual star.She was more than 10 times small (the size of a soccer ball, maybe more). A beam, bright as a searchlight, radiated from this ball, not reaching the ground. The ball and the beam shone bright yellow, having clear contours. The balloon seemed close, but the altitude was decent - from 1.5 to 2 km (45-50 degrees) above the horizon.

This was observed in the northwest. The searchlight tried to illuminate the earth for 10-12 minutes, it seemed that it shines through the earth, remaining motionless. But, probably, he did not succeed, because this bright wide beam did not reach the ground. In the field of view of this beam, the "Agricultural machinery" was clearly visible.

The ball with the beam slowly rose up and a blurry blue spot appeared in the lower part, which also rose after the beam; as it moved away from the ground, the diameter of the spot became larger.

Then the ball suddenly suddenly went out, the beam, too, and only a blue spot remained. I decided to observe until the end; since about 22 o'clock, I returned home.

The spot began to expand, the middle of it remained blue, and by the end the light changed to gray and faded. With such a vague cloud, it moved slowly, slowly to the northwest and disappeared over the horizon.

This process was monitored until the spot disappeared from 22 hours to 24 hours.

Weather: there was no wind and clouds. The temperature is about +10 degrees. The planes were not flying at the moment.
