Initial data
A man got a whole new look at the elusive creature after claiming to have seen the 10-foot beast with his own eyes.
Michael Freeman's father, Paul, did not believe in the phenomenon of bigfoot at all, but his beliefs were shattered when he noticed some "strange activity" in the forest.
A special smell prompted Paul to something sinister in the woods Spokane, USA, something that will change his life mission — to prove the existence of Bigfoot.
Mr. Freeman believes that the animal he saw in the forest was not a bear or other animal, but a snowman.
Instead, Paul compared his observation with photographs and drawings of "prehistoric man", where the ape-like monster made a very impressive impression on the expert on forests.
His son Michael said in a History Channel documentary:
"It looked at him at about the same time he was looking at it, and he said it stopped and he could hear his breathing, he was close enough. He could see the abdominal muscles on his chest moving as he breathed. Then he started walking away, stopping a couple of times to look back at him before leaving this place."
Michael says that after this meeting in 1982, his father became obsessed with the idea of proving the existence of Bigfoot.
Michael added:
"All he wanted to do was prove to people that they exist and that he's not crazy."
His father had already found traces of elk and deer, but other traces confused the experienced forester, who thought about what else could be in the forest and left behind huge footprints.
The footage shot by Paul is one of the most striking videos about bigfoot, and Michael says that this meeting really "scared" his father.
Paul, who died in 2003, retained his faith in the elusive beast after first meeting him in 1982.
Original news
A Bigfoot sceptic was left with a completely new outlook on the elusive creature after claiming to see the 10ft beast with his own eyes.
Michael Freeman's father, Paul, did not believe in the Sasquatch phenomenon whatsoever, but his beliefs were shattered when spotting some "strange activity" in the woods.
A particular smell tipped Paul off to something ominous in the woods of Spokane, United States, something that would change his life mission to proving the existence of the Sasquatch.
Mr Freeman believes the beast he saw in the woods was not a bear or other grizzly animal, but Bigfoot.
Instead, Paul likened his sighting to that of photographs and drawings of "prehistoric man", with the ape-like behemoth striking the woodland expert with quite the impression.
His son Michael said in a History channel documentary: "It looked at him about the same time that he looked at it and he said that it stopped and he could hear it breathing, he was close enough.
"He could see the stomach muscles in its chest moving as it was breathing. Then it started to walk off, stopping a couple times to look back at him before leaving the area."
Following the encounter in 1982, Michael says his father became obsessed with trying to prove the existence of Bigfoot.
Michael added: "All he wanted to do was prove to people that they existed and that he was not crazy."
His father had already found traces of elk and deer, but other footprints confused the expert forester who was left pondering what else could be in the forest and leaving the massive marks.
Footage captured by Paul is some of the clearest 'Bigfoot' videos out there, and Michael says the encounter truly "scared" his father.
Paul, who passed away in 2003, maintained his belief in the elusive beast after his first encounter in 1982.
Hypotheses
Famous creatures
There are a huge number of different living organisms on our planet. According to recent estimates, the number of species of organisms on our planet is approximately 7-10 million. However, only 15% of the data are described today.
According to the calculations of Canadians, 2.2 million species live in the world's oceans, 6.5 million on land. There are only about 7.8 million species of animals on the planet, 611 thousand fungi, and 300 thousand plants.
Deliberate falsification
This version includes any falsifications that imitate unexplained phenomena both from the outside: practical jokes, flash mobs, fake news, witness fraud, staging, etc.
There are many ways to make something similar to a ghost or a flying saucer from improvised materials, without using video and photomontage.
Many homemade things made for the sake of a joke, a practical joke or a direct imitation of a mystical being or event can be taken as unexplained not only in photos and videos, but also in reality.
