On November 17, 1979, a group of military personnel who drove up to the duty station by car - officers Lebedev G.V., Lobachev V.V. and private Kolesnikov N. at 19-20 observed a decrease and hovering of an unknown object in the area of the Donskoy state farm (Gorky region). When they saw the descending object, they stopped and got out of the car to get a better look at the phenomenon.
At first they were scared and wanted to drive the car to the guardhouse, but the engine wouldn't start. The weather was calm, windless, and there was heavy fog.
The object was oval in shape and shone with two bright rays (like searchlights) light lemon color, a clear contour of the object was visible, instability of the surface was also observed inside the contour, the surface was also light lemon color, the surface fluctuated (Lebedev G.V.)
The color of the object was metallic glowing, like a rocket at launch (Lobachev V.V.)
Then one beam went out, and the object with one lighted beam floated silently. Then it hovered again. The object was promoted and hovered several times, between hovers it moved 80 meters.
A second, dark object flying higher was visible above the glowing object. The first object hovered and illuminated the guardhouse, while both beams were burning.
The observers, getting off the car, tried to illuminate it with a searchlight, but the searchlight briefly flashed, as if in a short circuit, and went out. Attempts to restore it by replacing the lamp did not bring success (it was fixed only half an hour after the flight of the object). Then both beams turned off, and the object floated, gradually dissolving, although it should have been visible at the speed of movement.
According to Lobachev V. V., the object flew at an altitude of less than 100 m. Its diameter was 40 meters.
According to G.Lebedev, the viewing angle was about 30 degrees, the angular size of the object was 3 cm at arm's length.
He moved quite silently.His observation lasted more than 15 minutes.
The next day, November 18, 1979, both objects flew in the opposite direction, their passage this time was observed by about 10 people. A ray of light from the object illuminated the Kepsky elevator, located 18 km from the Donskoy state farm.
It should be noted that V. Lobachev is a hunter, has high powers of observation and a good eye.
