Initial data
Victoria Stepanovna Yaitskaya (the rationer) tells.
On June 9 or 10, 1981, in a summer cinema in Gelendzhik, I saw a UFO flying for the first time, about 21-30 pm in clear, calm weather.
An orange-white ball with a diameter of about 50 m, surrounded by a brighter luminous halo, quickly flew across the sky at an altitude of 1-2 km from the mountains towards the sea (approximately from east to west). Behind the ball, a bright orange-yellow tail was observed diverging, sparkling like a sparkler, expanding to the sides and rapidly fading. Directly from the ball stretched a smoky yellow tail, much longer than the sparkling one, which also quickly melted. The flight path gave the impression that the object should fall into Gelendzhik Bay.
I couldn't see where he had gone - the cinema building was in the way.
Over the course of several days until June 15, I twice observed at the same time a completely similar flight of similar objects. The difference was only a slight difference in altitude. There was no sound. It seemed that the objects were landing in the sea, bending down the flight path.
The apparent size of the ball is about 2\3 of the lunar disk. The flight speed is like that of a jet plane, possibly faster. It looked like a comet with a tail. All the cinema audience watched.
Hypotheses
Space debris
By space junk refers to all manmade objects and their fragments in space, which is already faulty, not functioning, and will never be able to serve any useful purpose. Currently in low earth orbits up to altitudes of about 2000 km is, according to various estimates, about 220 thousand (300 thousand according to the UN office for outer space Affairs, October 2009) man-made objects weighing up to 5000 tons.
In the case of UFOs, it is possible to expand this list lost cosmonauts things (tools, etc.).
Meteor
Meteor, "shooting star" is a phenomenon that occurs when small meteor bodies (for example, fragments of comets or asteroids) burn up in the Earth's atmosphere. A similar phenomenon of greater intensity (brighter than magnitude -4) it's called a fireball.
Pyrotechnics
This category includes not only pyrotechnic projectiles visible in the sky, but also traces of exploded projectiles, their fragments and other similar activities.
Pyrotechnics is a branch of technology related to the technology of preparing combustible compounds and burning them to obtain a certain signal or effect.
