Something fell from the sky on the evening of February 7, 1991 over the vast territory of Argentina. His remains were scattered over a vast strip running from Patagonia to the coast. We managed to collect a lot of metal fragments. One of them is exhibited by members of the group CIC Venado Tuerto (Santa Fe) at that time. Another fragment is in the hands of Jose Rodriguez, a policeman from Peuajo (Buenos Aires) and so on.

On the other hand, the fragment stored in the Entre Rios museum has been the subject of controversy for many years, since it was "sold" as an unusual object from outer space along with a translucent icon that surprised visitors. It is clear that the alleged origin of UFOs was more attractive to the mystery-loving public than any earthly origin.

According to legend, the object was found "by pure coincidence" in 1991 in a place in Entre Rios (Rincon del Doll), which by pure chance turned out to be where the Russian artifact disintegrated. Thus, there was a split between the adherents of UFOs and those who doubted the origin of the object. Add to this the fact that the cosmonaut holding the object in his hands stated that he could not "identify this object as Soviet equipment."

Now, we are dealing with the fact that ufologists, after three decades of averting their gaze, were forced to give in to the "evidence" and "evidence" of a skeptical analyst, practically an exposer of the subject.

The Commodore who heads the only official body of the Argentine government studying UFOs. The steps taken, pleasant or not, corresponded to all protocols: in this case, a translucent metal fragment was sent to LINF (an abbreviation of Ing. Gregorio Cusminsky Research Laboratories Physical Metallurgy), a branch of the Mechanical Faculty of the School of Engineering of the National University of La Plata (UNLP).

As a result, as expected, the UFO myth collapsed. According to engineer Carlos Llorente, the fragment was a piece of stainless steel, the origin of which is nothing else... Russian space station "Salyut-7"! Thus, the myth collapsed and burned down.
