Eastern European specialists intend to create a large disc-shaped aircraft.

Experts from Romania engaged in the development of a supersonic "flying saucer" that can take off and land vertically. Ideological inspirers of the project — researcher at Romanian National Institute for aerospace research Joseph Tapas and engineer Razvan Sabie.

Development called ADIFO (All DIrections Flying Object). Already assembled the first flying prototype of the device: it has a diameter of 1.2 meters. "Flying saucer" got four fans, which are responsible for vertical takeoff and landing.

Two more fan, responsible for horizontal flight, located at the rear of the aircraft.

It is worth saying that disc-shaped aircraft is not widespread, although their tests were carried out in different countries. One of the problems lies in the complex management of "flying saucers".
