This effect is due to the fact that the lenses some digital cameras use plane shutter, which can be roughly represented in the form of slits, moving from one image edge to another. The exposure (irradiation) of matrices and, respectively, the formation of the images in these cameras are made not once, but gradually, as the movement of the slit.
