Initial data
Cosette and Ken Willoughby were spending the night in a crowd about 20 miles from Quincy when they saw a strange figure approaching.
As he walked, he turned his head from side to side like a lizard. He had a very complicated walking stick. On top of it was carved a large ball with four cobras wrapped around a stick.
The second time they saw him, the witness approached the figure and tried to make small talk. The stranger pretended not to hear her and simply left.
He was described as a grey-haired man wearing a white shirt and dark trousers. He was of average height. He left the forest, then crossed the main road and returned to the forest. It had the appearance of a reptile. His cane was made of yellowish wood, and he held it by the ball on top.
