After reading an article in the newspaper "Trud" entitled "Exactly at 4.10", my husband and I decided to write to you about the phenomenon that we saw. It was on the night of September 6-7, 1984.
My husband was sent on a business trip to Leningrad and I, while on vacation, went with him. We were driving along the Moscow-Leningrad highway and somewhere in front of Novgorod we saw a phenomenon very similar to the one described in the article. The time was about 4 hours, suddenly to our right we saw a beam of a "spotlight", it shone from the sky, coming from a yellow point with a cone and falling to the ground. The light was very bright.
The first impression was that this beam of the "spotlight" was very close. I even said, "Stop the car, let's go out and see." But then we decided that it was not necessary to go out, you can observe this phenomenon directly from the car, it was always with us along the way, although we were traveling at a speed of 70 km / h.
Outside Novgorod, the husband stopped the car at the traffic police checkpoint and asked the inspector about this phenomenon he had seen. He said that another traffic police post had already called, they were also surprised and did not know what it was.
Gradually, the beam of the "spotlight" moved from the right side and appeared right in front of the car. A second cone appeared, wider but paler than the first, then a third - wide and completely pale. Then, somehow instantly, we didn't even notice, a green cloud formed in front of us in place of the "searchlight". It was constantly changing, taking different forms. But now it took the form of a huge comma, the "tail" of which seemed to touch the ground. Then the "comma" began to gradually dissipate and fade. With the dawn, everything disappeared. We were approaching Leningrad. During this time, we remembered this amazing phenomenon many times, everything seemed to be in a dream and something mysterious and unearthly arises in the soul.
