INEXPLICABLE # 5-invierno de 1999
La ola de Ovnis permanece con toda su fuerza en todo el Norte del país, y se están conociendo algunos casos muy bien documentados. La revista ENIGMAS ha visitado lugares que últimamente han estado en las noticias para presentar nuevos datos sobre las extrañas visitas que se han reportado en algunas partes de Galicia, según han relatado testigos del suceso.
El jueves, 20 de febrero, la localidad de Paradaseca (Ourense), perteneciente al municipio de Chanderxa de Chiexa, encontró su habitual tranquilidad, perturbada por una extraña visita. El pastor local Heliodoro Núñez, de 76 años, fue el desafortunado culpable del incidente, en el que participaron varias criaturas de tres metros.
"Eran alrededor de las cuatro de la tarde, aproximadamente cuando estaba con el rebaño en un campo ubicado a unos tres kilómetros del desvío de Chandrex Road, a lo largo del río Devesas. De repente, los perros comenzaron a ladrar y mirar al punto al Principio pensé que tal vez estaba relacionado con los lobos, pero cuando me di la vuelta y vi a estas "criaturas" altas y extrañas, me di cuenta de que no eran lobos...»
Pocos días después del suceso, el lugar fue visitado por miembros del grupo Fenix de a Coruña. Un anciano testigo les aseguró que había logrado ver muy claramente a dos enormes criaturas asomándose por detrás de un seto. Tenían más de tres metros de altura y [sus cabezas] estaban cubiertas con algo parecido a una extraña "tabla de cal" o "mitra arquidiocesana luminosa". El todo, dos criaturas similares a los" gemelos siameses " y sus curiosos tocados, cambiaban de color en sincronía, adquiriendo diferentes tonos de rojo, azul, amarillo y verde...
"Fue de otro mundo", declaró Heliodoro Núñez, "y el hecho es que comencé a rezar cuando vi el fantasma". El miedo que experimentó este hombre no pasó desapercibido en los días siguientes por sus familiares más cercanos. La esposa de Heliodoro le dijo a ENIGMAS que "llegó a casa sintiéndose muy, muy asustado. Oró durante mucho tiempo y luego pasó dos noches sin dormir, incapaz de comer nada. No puedo decirte lo que vio, pero eso lo asustó mucho.»
Además de Heliodoro Núñez, nuestros compañeros han encontrado otro testigo de este espectacular evento.
Juan González González, de 42 años, residente de Casteligo (también en el municipio de Chandrexa de Keixa) afirmó que el mismo día y hora y en el mismo lugar donde ocurrió el encuentro con el humanoide, vio una luz roja oscura inmóvil sobre las copas de los árboles. Dada la distancia que lo separaba del hombre de Paradasek, no pudo ver a los "dos gigantes". Sin embargo, confirmó que cuando se topó con Heliodoro, este hombre "corría con esas cabras con miedo".
Cuarenta y ocho horas más tarde, Juan González dijo a la región de Ourense periódico:
"Al principio pensé que era un incendio, pero no había humo. Yo también pensé que era un tractor, pero no podía serlo. Podría haber sido un globo, pero no se movió en absoluto. No sé lo que era, pero tres metros en él era fácil".
La investigación continúa. Los miembros del grupo Fenix han descubierto varias esferas metalizadas en el sitio, que están siendo analizadas para determinar su naturaleza.
Casi simultáneamente, el hijo de Heliodoro Núñez comenzó a tener terrores nocturnos e irritación ocular pronunciada. Aparentemente, el joven de 25 años apareció en la habitación de sus padres la noche anterior, llevando un colchón y listo para pasar la noche con ellos. Según él, tenía miedo de dormir en su habitación, ya que "había luces extrañas delante de él".

El incidente en el municipio de Chandrexa de Keixa está lejos de ser el último. En la madrugada del sábado 15 de marzo, un objeto en forma de diamante fue fotografiado desde la cima del Cerro Espenuca en la ciudad de Betanzos. El objeto consistía en cinco y seis luces alternativamente. El fenómeno aéreo fue filmado a las 04:13, mientras un grupo de jóvenes observaba el movimiento del cometa Hale-BOPP.
Un día después, a las 19:00 horas, la pareja y su hijo circulaban por la carretera del alto de Sesta, cerca de Abadín (Lugo), cuando pudieron ver un espectacular fenómeno celeste que compararon con la "danza del sol" de Fátima.

The UFO wave remains in full force throughout the northern par to the country and some very well documented cases are becoming known. ENIGMAS magazine has visited the locations which have been in the news lately to present new data regarding the strange visits being reported in certain parts of Galicia, as told by the witnesses to this event.
On Thursday, February 20th, the village of Paradaseca (Orense), belonging to the municipality of Chanderxa de Quiexa, found its usual peacefulness disturbed by a strange visit. Local shepherd Heliodoro Núñez, 76, was the hapless protagonist of an incident involving a number of 3 meter-tall entities. "It was around four in the afternoon, more or less, when I was with the herd in a field located some three kilometers from the detour on the Chandrexa road, along the Devesas River. Suddenly, the dogs started barking and staring at a point behind me. At first I thought I might have to do with wolves, but when I turned around and saw those tall, weird "things", I realized they were no wolves..."
On the days following the event, members of La Coruña's Grupo Fenix visited the scene. The aged witness assured them that he had been able to see with great clarity two enormous beings looking over the hedges. They stood in excess of three meters and [their heads] were covered by something similar to a strange "mortarboard" or "luminous bishop's mitre". The whole--the two beings, who were like "Siamese twins" and their curious headgear--changed color in unison, acquiring various shades of red, blue, yellow and green...
"It was otherworldly," stated Heliodoro Núñez, "and the fact is that I began to pray when I saw the apparition." The fear this man experienced did not go unnoticed by his closest relatives over the following days. Heliodoro's wife told ENIGMAS that "he arrived home feeling very, very scared. He prayed for a long time and spent two sleepless nights afterward, unable to eat anything. I can't tell you what he saw, but it scared him very much."
Aside from Heliodoro Núñez, our companions found another witness to this spectacular event. Juan González González,42, a resident of Casteligo (also in Chandrexa de Queixa municipality) claimed that on the very same day and time, and at the same place where the humanoid encounter occurred, he saw a deep red light motionless over the treetops. Given the distance separating him from the man from Paradaseca, he was unable to see the "two giants". He did confirm, however, that when he came across Heliodoro, the man was "running with this goats in fear." Forty-eight hours later, Juan González told Orense's La Región newspaper: "At first I thought it was a fire, but no smoke rose from it. I also thought it was a tractor, but it couldn't be. It could've been a balloon, but it didn't move at all. I don't know what it was, but it easily measured three meters."
The investigation is ongoing. Members of Grupo Fenix have found some metallized spheres at the site which are being subjected to analysis to identify their nature.
Almost simultaneously, Heliodoro Núñez's son began experiencing night terrors and pronounced ocular irritation. It would seem that the 25 year old man appeared in his parent's bedroom the night before, carrying a mattress and fully ready to spend the night with them. According to his account, he was afraid of sleeping in his room since "strange lights were appearing before him."

The incident in Chandrexa de Queixa municipality is by no means the last one. In the early morning hours of Saturday, March 15, a rhomboidal object was filmed from the top of the A Espenuca hill in the town of Betanzos. The object consisted of five and six lights, alternately. The aerial phenomenon was caught on film at 04:13 hours while a group of youngsters followed the progress of comet Hale-Bopp. A day later, at 19:00 hours, a couple and their son were driving along the Alto de Sesta highway near Abadín (Lugo), when they were able to see a spectacular celestial event they compared to Fátima's "dance of the sun".
