El evento ocurrió cuando el" Granadero Británico " navegaba por el Golfo de México.
Un OVNI (similar a la punta de una flecha) apareció justo encima de la nave exactamente al mediodía del primer día. Así parecía porque nadie lo vio venir. Permaneció sobre la nave durante los siguientes 3 días.

Aunque un OVNI con una flecha no es la forma más común de OVNI, esta observación fue aún más inusual debido a su Duración. ¡El OVNI vio a toda la tripulación del petrolero "Granadero Británico" exactamente 3 días! El evento ocurrió alrededor de abril / mayo de 1969, cuando el" Granadero Británico " navegó por el Golfo de México. El OVNI apareció justo encima de la nave exactamente al mediodía del primer día. Simplemente parecía porque nadie lo vio llegar y permaneció sobre el barco durante los próximos 3 días.
Según los informes, el barco estaba a una altura de aproximadamente 1 milla sobre el barco y tenía un color azul oscuro durante el día. Por la noche, parecía una luz plateada. En esos momentos, las condiciones climáticas eran buenas, con cielos despejados y un mar tranquilo.
El primer día de llegada (un minuto después de la medianoche), los motores de la nave se detuvieron repentinamente y solo quedaron las luces de emergencia y los controles. La tripulación logró reiniciar los motores, lo que llevó un tiempo, ya que todas las bombas tuvieron que detenerse y arrancar manualmente.
En el segundo día, todos los refrigeradores para almacenar alimentos se cerraron y no se pudieron encontrar razones para este evento.
El tercer día, a las 23: 45, uno de los miembros de la tripulación notó que la sala de aire acondicionado estaba apagada y la puerta que conducía a las viviendas de la tripulación estaba abierta. El ingeniero entró por la puerta para investigar y habló con dos bomberos. ¡Pero al día siguiente, encontraron la misma puerta preparada! Aparentemente, la puerta estaba sellada antes de que el barco saliera del muelle (debido a un mal funcionamiento), pero la puerta definitivamente estaba abierta para que el ingeniero pudiera atravesarla.
Unos minutos después del evento, los motores se detuvieron nuevamente, solo quedaron las luces de emergencia y la dirección (¡nuevamente un minuto después de la medianoche!). Se volvieron a encender, pero más tarde se reveló que el motor de arranque del generador diesel de emergencia había sido desmantelado. Todas las partes del generador se colocaron cuidadosamente cerca de la máquina, como si alguien la hubiera investigado. Exactamente al mediodía del tercer día, el OVNI desapareció tal como apareció.
Aunque todos estos eventos se registraron en el registro de la nave, esta es la primera vez (que sabemos) que se publica este evento (en profindpages.com 2004.05.29).

Although Arrowhead UFOs are not the most common of UFO shapes sighted, this sighting was even more unusual because of its duration. The craft was seen by the entire crew of the Oil Tanker “British Grenadier” for exactly 3 days! The event occurred around April/May 1969 while the “British Grenadier” was sailing through the Gulf of Mexico. The UFO appeared directly above the ship at exactly noon on the first day. It just seemed to appear as nobody saw it arrive and it remained above the ship for the next 3 days.
According to reports, the craft was approximately 1 mile above the ship and dark blue in color during the day. At night it appeared as a silvery light. The weather conditions were good at the time, with a clear sky and calm seas. On the first day of its arrival (one minute after midnight), the ship’s engines suddenly stopped and only emergency lighting and steering were available. The crew managed to restart the engines, which took some time as all the pumps had to be shut down and restarted manually.
The second day saw all the food storage refrigerators closed down and no reason for this event could be found. On the third day at 11.45 pm, one of the crew noticed that the lights were out in the ship’s air conditioning room and a door leading to the crew’s accommodation was opened. The engineer passed through the door to investigate and spoke to two firemen. But the next day the same door was found welded shut! Apparently, the door had been welded before the ship left dock (because of a fault), but the door was definitely open for the engineer to have walked through it.
A few minutes after this event the engines stopped again, leaving just emergency lighting and steering (again one minute after midnight!). They were restarted once more, but later it was discovered that the starter motor for the emergency diesel generator had been dismantled. All the parts of the generator were neatly placed by the machine as if someone had examined it. At exactly noon on the third day, the craft vanished in the same manner as it had appeared.
Although all these events were recorded in the ship’s log, this is the first time (to our knowledge) that this event has been published. We would be interested in hearing from any of the crew that was aboard the BP Oil Tanker “British Grenadier” at this time, in order to obtain more information about this sighting.
