En una mañana extremadamente brumosa, el testigo principal y su amigo Ian viajaban en bicicleta a Upton Scadamore desde Westbury.
Al pasar por la granja de Wellhead, Ian se encontró justo en frente del testigo principal y desapareció de la vista en la niebla. De repente, se sintió muy mareado, tan fuerte que tuvo que bajarse de su bicicleta y caminar.
Miró el campo a la derecha y no había nada allí, pero una vez más se vio obligado a mirar y de la nada apareció una figura humanoide. Estaba a unas ocho yardas (72 m) del testigo.
Ella tenía casi nueve pies (2,7 m) de altura, aparentemente de pie sobre la hierba, en cierto sentido era un humanoide, aunque tenía tres dedos. El dedo medio comenzó un poco por debajo de lo que llamamos muñeca. También faltaban pelo, orejas y nariz. Había marcas que indicaban la boca y los ojos.
El mozo brillaba como mojado y llevaba ropa sencilla: una túnica con una correa y zapatos similares a calcetines que no tenían costuras.
A pesar de su forma humanoide, su cabeza era desproporcionada, sus piernas cortas y gruesas, y sus brazos llegaban hasta las rodillas pero por encima del tobillo. El brazo izquierdo siguió balanceándose hacia adelante y hacia atrás todo el tiempo que lo vio (alrededor de media hora).
Antes de que desapareciera, el testigo se recuperó porque parecía estar en una especie de trance y llamó a su amigo Ian porque estaba asustado.
Cuando llamó, el dedo izquierdo de la mano izquierda del humanoide tocó el dedo medio con algo que parecía una mancha negra o un bulto.
En cuestión de segundos, simplemente desapareció. Ian, desafortunadamente, nunca ha visto a esta criatura. A lo largo de la experiencia, la mano izquierda del testigo se elevó muy lentamente a unos setenta y cinco grados y volvió a Bajar lentamente. Esto se repitió dos veces. No pudo controlar esa reacción. Nunca se sintió mareado ni antes ni después.

Summary: On an extremely foggy morning the main witness and his friend Ian were cycling to Upton Scudamore from Westbury. Just passing Wellhead Farm, Ian was well in front of the main witness and out of sight within the fog. Suddenly he felt very dizzy, so much so, that he had to dismount from his cycle and walk. He glanced to the field on his right and there was nothing, but again he was compelled to look and out of nowhere appeared a humanoid figure. It was about eight yards away from the witness. It stood almost nine feet high, apparently solid on a grass crop, it was humanoid in a sense, though it lacked the characteristics five fingers, instead it had three. The middle finger starting slightly below what we term the wrist. It lacked also hair, ears and nose. There were markings suggesting a mouth and eyes. It glistened as though wet and wore simple clothing, a tunic with a satch and sock-like shoes none of which looked to have seams. Although humanoid in shape, its head was out of proportion, the legs short and stout, and the arms reaching below the knees, but above where the ankle would be. The left arm kept swaying to and fro during the time he saw it (about half a minute). Before it vanished the witness regained his senses for he seemed to have been in a sort of trance, and called to his friend Ian, as he felt scared. As he called out the left finger of the left hand of the humanoid touched the middle finger on what appeared to be a black spot or lump. In a matter of seconds it simply vanished. Ian unfortunately never saw the creature. Throughout the whole experience the witness’s left arm rose very slowly to about seventy five degrees and slowly went back down again. This was repeated twice. He had no control over this reaction. He had never felt dizzy before or since.
