Mauro Bellingeri (26 años) y su esposa Carla se dirigían a su casa en Santa María del Tempio cuando notaron un objeto brillante en el cielo.
El objeto se zambulló bruscamente hacia la oreja y se detuvo a unos 12 metros (40 pies) de altura. Ambos Bellinger salieron del auto para echar un vistazo al objeto ahora inmóvil y silencioso.
Era como un disco con una cúpula transparente brillante y un anillo rojo giratorio en el centro y una luz verde y amarilla.
