Al mismo tiempo, cuando se produjo un fenómeno milagroso en la cima de esta colina, se encontraron varios objetos no identificados en las cercanías de la colina, que incluso fueron filmados.
Otros testigos informaron sobre objetos brillantes en forma de disco que volaban sobre sus cabezas.
Una de las testigos, Delia flores, informó que ella y otros feligreses se sorprendieron al ver una camioneta beige estacionada en el área del santuario religioso en la colina. Sus pasajeros vestían un uniforme naranja con símbolos de la NASA, y un conductor de habla española les dijo que la camioneta contenía una carga muy inusual: un mono atrapado en el bosque estatal del Caribe (el Yunque).
Según flores, ella y otros vieron una jaula cubierta que contenía algo "luchando por salir". El conductor agregó que la criatura fue llevada a un laboratorio secreto de investigación de primates ubicado en algún lugar de la isla donde se estaba investigando esta especie de criatura.

Summary: At the same time of the miraculous apparition of the Blessed Virgin in this hilltop, a number of unidentified artifacts were reported in the hill’s vicinity and even captured on film. Other witnesses reported brilliant, disk-like objects flying overhead. One of the witnesses, Delia Flores, reported that she and other worshippers were surprised to see a beige van parked in the area of the religious sanctuary on the hill. Its occupants wore orange fatigues with NASA insignia, and the vehicle’s Spanish speaking driver told them that the van contained a most unusual cargo—a simian creature captured in the Caribe State Forest (El Yunque). According to Flores, she and the others saw a covered cage that contained something “struggling to get out.” The driver added that the creature was being taken to a secret primate research laboratory located somewhere in the island, where investigation on this sort of being was being conducted. A local farmer discovered one morning that a number of plantain plants on his property had been destroyed by an unknown creature that left a number of deep footprints, attesting to its massive size and weight. Other residents indicated that they had seen a “hairy figure” run away from the area in the darkness, but they could not described it in detail.
