La estudiante de octavo grado Maris M. estaba en casa, su madre estaba en el trabajo y su hermana dormía en el dormitorio de al lado.
Maris se despertó repentinamente, como si obedeciera un impulso telepático, y abrió la ventana sin entender por qué. Entró en el balcón y vio un gran objeto volador bajo en forma de bola de color azul que emitía un largo rayo de luz.
Este espectáculo inusual hizo que Maris saliera corriendo de su edificio y se lanzara hacia el OVNI. Corrió como un velocista, sintiendo una extraña excitación y felicidad.
Al acercarse al OVNI, se dio cuenta de que no era un globo, sino en realidad un triángulo invertido que parecía un paquete de leche. El objeto maniobró y descendió sin sonido. En el lateral se hizo visible la entrada, y desde ella se proyectó una escalera escalonada. Maris corrió unos 75 metros en dirección a la nave, cruzando la carretera, donde un taxista que pasaba cerca también notó una embarcación anómala y frenó rápidamente.
Los sonidos de los frenos llamaron la atención de Maris, y él vislumbró el taxi cuando se volvió hacia el OVNI nuevamente, desapareció por completo.
Después de este incidente original, Maris comenzó a suceder cosas extrañas. La semana siguiente, alguien visitó a un niño dormido a las 04:00 y le tocó el hombro.
Una vez notó una extraña figura alienígena, de naturaleza transparente como el vidrio. La extraña figura se repitió varias veces en ruso:
"Soy un robot MB-20, te sentirás bien".
Después de estas palabras, el robot alienígena desaparecía cada vez. Más tarde tuvo un encuentro mucho más dramático.

8th grade student Maris M. was at home, while his mother was at work and his sister slept in a nearby bedroom. Maris suddenly awoke as if obeying a telepathic impulse and opened the window, not understanding why. He entered the balcony and saw a low flying large blue colored globe-shaped object, emitting a long beam of light. This uncommon sight caused Maris to run out of his building and rush towards the UFO. He ran like a sprinter feeling a strange exaltation and bliss. Approaching the UFO he realized that it was not a globe but in fact an inverted triangle similar to a milk carton. The object maneuvered and descended without a sound. An entryway became visible on the side of the craft and a step-like ladder jutted out. Maris ran approximately 75 meters in the direction of the craft, crossing a highway, where a taxi driver passing nearby also noticed the anomalous craft and quickly applied its brakes. The sounds of the brakes attracted Maris attention and he briefly glanced at the taxi, when he turned back to the UFO, it had completely vanished. After this original incident, strange things began to occur to Maris. During the next week someone visited the sleeping boy at 0400A and touched his shoulder. One time he noticed a strange alien figure, transparent in nature, like glass. The strange figure repeated in Russian, reiterating several times, “I am robot MB-20, You will be well.” After saying those words the alien robot disappeared each time. He was to have a later much more dramatic encounter.
