El residente local kadyrbek Abdirahmanov trabajó como jefe del equipo de construcción de carreteras y llegó tarde a casa después de un retraso en el trabajo. Agarrando el pomo de la puerta, de repente sintió un estado de levitación, como si de repente hubiera perdido peso, y se sorprendió al descubrir que estaba volando por el aire.
Momentos después, se encontró en un desfiladero de montaña llamado ukok, a unos 10-12 km de Kochkorka. Un momento después, aún en estado de ingravidez, escuchó la siguiente frase:
"No estamos volando hacia el lago. Estamos regresando".
En total desconcierto, kadyrbek miró el reloj, eran las 19: 25. Ya estaba oscuro, y kadyrbek, sin perder tiempo pensando en lo que había sucedido, caminó hacia su granja.
Y de nuevo en el camino, sintió una extraña sensación de ligereza en el cuerpo. Al pasar por la cerca, se acercó a la torre de televisión local y notó un objeto en forma de bola flotando cerca.
La parte superior del OVNI estaba oscura, mientras que la parte inferior emitía una luz mate. En apariencia, el objeto tenía unos 12 metros de diámetro. Kadyrbeka se sintió abrumado por el miedo, se arrodilló y comenzó a Leer versos del sagrado Corán, pero por miedo no pudo terminar la oración.
Finalmente se acercó a la casa de su sobrino y pidió ayuda. Su sobrino, esposa e hijos salieron corriendo a la calle y vieron un OVNI que se retiraba.
Kadyrbek se sintió tan débil que su sobrino tuvo que llevarlo a casa. Parecía extraño que la ropa del testigo estuviera completamente limpia, ni siquiera polvorienta.
Cabe destacar que en el mismo día, se observaron muchos otros Ovnis en diferentes partes de la URSS, incluida Crimea, Ucrania.

Kadyrbek Abdyrahmanov a local resident was working as the head of a road construction crew and was returning late to his home after a delay at his job. As he grabbed the door handle he suddenly felt a state of levitation, as he had suddenly lost weight, amazed he found himself flying through the air. Moments later he found himself in a mountainous ravine called Ukok, approximately 10-12km from Kochkorka. In a moment while he was still in a state of weightlessness he heard the following phrase, “We are not flying to lake. We return”. In total puzzlement, Kadyrbek looked at his watch, the time was 1925. It was getting dark and without wasting time thinking about what had happened, Kadyrbek began to walk towards his hamlet. Again as he walked he began to feel a strange light-feeling in his body. Passing by a fence he approached a local television tower and noticed a globe-shaped object hovering near him. The upper section of the UFO was dark while the lower section emitted a matt light. In appearance the object was about 12m in diameter. Kadyrbek was seized with strong fear, he kneeled down and began praying verses from the holy Koran, but he couldn’t complete the prayers out of fear. Finally he approached the home of his nephew and yelled for help. His nephew, his wife and kids ran outside and saw the UFO departing. Kadyrbek felt so weak that his nephew had to drive him home. It seemed strange that the witness clothing were completely clean, not even dusty. Remarkably on that same day numerous other UFOs were observed in different parts of the USSR including the Crimea, Ukraine.
