Datos iniciales
El testigo N. Zhdanov y su esposa se despertaron por la noche con una luz azul brillante que emanaba de algún lugar por encima de ellos.
Zhdanov sugirió que estos son extraterrestres (!), y se ofreció para encontrarlos a pesar de las objeciones de su esposa, que no le permitió salir. De repente, algo extraño sucedió, la esposa corrió hacia la cama, cayó boca abajo sobre ella e inmediatamente se durmió.
Luego, el testigo sintió algo de presión y zumbido en sus oídos, y el vello de su cuerpo se puso de pie como si estuviera cargado de electricidad estática. Y luego sintió náuseas, se sentó en el borde de la cama, le dolió la cabeza. Luego se acostó en la cama y aparentemente se desmayó.
Luego se despertó repentinamente y aparentemente fue trasladado a un lugar desconocido. Observó un objeto de forma cúbica que se encontraba sobre una plataforma, aparentemente de plástico marrón, de unos 2 metros de altura, con una puerta pero sin puerta ni ventanas.
Varios hombres estaban dentro del cubo en algo parecido a un taburete, junto a ellos había una mesa en otro taburete. Con gestos, los hombres invitaron a Zhdanov a entrar y sentarse con ellos. El testigo intentó mover el taburete, pero parece que estaba conectado al taburete. Entonces Zhdanov se pellizcó y se dio cuenta de que no era un sueño.
Los hombres parecían humanos, un poco mayores que el testigo, y le preguntaron a Zhdanov en ruso puro:
"¿Deberíamos explicarte Quiénes somos?»
El testigo asintió positivamente y luego los extraterrestres continuaron:
"¿Quieres viajar con nosotros a una distancia (no especificada) de años luz?»
El testigo escuchó incorrectamente el número de años luz y pidió que la cifra se convirtiera en una más conveniente. Respondieron que, después de todo el tiempo de viaje, habría envejecido un total de cinco años después de regresar a la Tierra. El testigo rechazó la invitación, y luego uno de los extraterrestres, que estaba escribiendo en el Bloc de notas, lo miró y le preguntó:
"¿Por qué?»
El testigo explicó que estaba construyendo una casa, que tardó muchos años en obtener un permiso de construcción, y como no era miembro del PCUS (partido Comunista), sería muy incómodo si desapareciera repentinamente. En ese momento, su interlocutor dijo que se dio cuenta de que no lo iban a tomar por la fuerza y agregó que el testigo no tendría problemas ni con el dinero ni con la construcción de la casa.
Antes de despedirse, el extraterrestre dijo que si un testigo alguna vez cambiaba de opinión, solo tendría que pensarlo por un momento y se haría (?). También se le aconsejó que no contara a nadie sobre su reunión.
El testigo también vio dos "robots"dentro del cubo. Uno de ellos estaba estudiando al testigo, midiendo algo en su mano derecha. En su mano izquierda, el robot tenía algo así como una computadora portátil (¡una computadora portátil en 1990!), y claramente cargó datos en él, ya que había numerosas luces parpadeando, el testigo podía ver figuras azules y naranjas brillantes en la pantalla de la computadora, pero no podía ver el dispositivo o la pantalla correctamente, ya que no tenía gafas de lectura con él.
El testigo también falló un poco en la memoria durante el incidente y no se comportó como una "persona normal". Más tarde se despertó acostado en el Suelo. Luego saltó alegremente y se apresuró a salir.
Estaba lloviendo y a unos 1 km vio una luz azul volando hacia la ciudad de Tuapse. Las luces se apagaron, pero no pudo dormir el resto de la noche. Por la mañana, fue a un parque cercano y vio una gran morera rota, aparentemente causada por una fuerza poderosa.
Más tarde encontró en su brazo una quemadura de 4 cm de largo en forma de media Luna. La quemadura lo lastimó durante mucho tiempo.

The witness, N. Zhdanov and his wife awoke at night from a bright blue blinking light emanating from somewhere over them. Mr. Zhdanov supposed that it was extraterrestrials (!) and volunteered to meet them notwithstanding his wife’s objections, which was preventing him from going outdoors. Suddenly something strange happened, his wife ran to the bed fell on it face down and immediately fell asleep. The witness then felt some pressure and ringing in his ears and the hairs on his body stood up as if charged with static electricity. And then feeling nauseous he sat on the edge of the bed, he also had a headache. He then lay on the bed and apparently lost consciousness. Next he suddenly awoke and had been obviously transported to an unfamiliar location. He noticed a cubic-shaped object that was standing on a platform apparently made out of brown plastic, about 2 meters high, with a doorway but without a door or windows. Several men stood inside the cube on what appeared to be a stool, nearby them was a table on another stool. Using hand signals the men invited Zhdanov to come in and sit with them. The witness attempted to move the stool but it seemed connected to the stool. Zhdanov then pinched himself and realized that he was not dreaming. The men looked human, a little older than the witness and asked Zhdanov in the pure Russian language, “Should we explain to you who we are?” The witness nodded positively and then the alien men continued, “Do you want to travel with us to a distance of (unspecified) light years?” The witness did not correctly hear the number of light years and asked them to transform the figure into a more convenient one. They answered that after the total amount of travel time, he would have aged a total of five years upon returning to Earth. The witness refused the invitation and then one of the alien men who had been busily writing on a “notepad” looked up at him and asked “Why?” The witness explained that he was in the process of building a house that had taken many years to obtain a building permit and since he was not a member of the CPSU (Communist Party) it would be very awkward if he suddenly disappears. Then his interlocutor said that he understood everything, that he was not going to be taken by force and added that the witness would not have problems with money or the construction of the house. Before saying goodbye the alien said that if the witness would someday change his mind, he will just have to think about it for a moment and it would be done (?). He was also advised not to tell anyone about his encounter. The witness also saw two “robots” inside the cube. One of them was studying the witness, measuring something on his right hand. On his left hand the robot had something like a portable computer (laptop in 1990!) and was apparently downloading data into it, since numerous lights were blinking on it, the witness could see luminous blue and orange figures on the screen of the computer, but he could not see the device or screen properly, since he did not have his reading glasses with him. The witness also several memory lapses during the incident and did not act like a “normal person”. He later woke up lying on the floor; he then cheerfully jumped up and hurried into the street. It was raining and he then saw a blue light about a 1 km away flying towards the town of Tuapse. Then the light vanished, but he could not sleep for the rest of the night. In the morning he went to a nearby park and saw a large broken mulberry tree apparently caused by a powerful force. He later found a 4cm long burn on his hand, shaped like a crescent. The burn caused him pain for a long time. Soon his financial problems were settled (just like the aliens had predicted) and in the summer of 1991 the witness was saved from a car accident by some unknown force that suddenly stopped the engine of his “UAZ-469” vehicle several hundred meters from the location where several other vehicles had collided causing numerous casualties.

Osborne 1 es el primer microcomputador portátil comercialmente exitoso, lanzado a la venta el 3 de abril de 1981 por la compañía estadounidense Osborne Computer Corporation.
Y eso no toca la ciencia ficción tanto en los libros como en el cine. Por lo tanto, en 1990, ya había representaciones de computadoras portátiles.
