Aquí está la historia del accidente de un OVNI cerca del pueblo de megas Platanos en Grecia central el 2 de septiembre de 1990:
Alrededor de las 3 a.m., los pastores y algunos aldeanos observaron a un pequeño grupo de 5 a 6 Ovnis que se acercaban al terreno desde el Norte. Uno de ellos tenía un vuelo inestable y parecía tener un problema. Extrañas luces provenían del fuselaje del OVNI, pero sin ruido.
Como me dijo un testigo presencial, el pastor Tratos Karatranjos, de repente un OVNI problemático perdió altura y se estrelló en el Suelo a unos 500 metros de distancia. No escuchó ningún ruido, pero comenzó un incendio en los arbustos. Tratos Caratraños tenía mucho miedo de acercarse y se mantuvo en su posición observando el fenómeno.
El resto de los Ovnis en este grupo se detuvieron sobre el lugar del "accidente", y 2 de ellos aterrizaron cerca del OVNI destruido. Después de unos minutos, el incendio en los arbustos se extinguió (probablemente el fuego detuvo a la tripulación de los Ovnis que aterrizaron).
Durante el resto de la noche, hasta el amanecer, hubo un movimiento inusual desde el Suelo hasta los Ovnis voladores. Manchas de luz (¿algo así como pequeñas balsas espaciales ??) subiendo y bajando, probablemente recogiendo fragmentos de Ovnis destruidos y cuerpos (?) Tripulación. ¡Completaron la recolección antes del amanecer, después de lo cual el resto de los Ovnis despegaron y se perdieron en el cielo!
Mientras tanto, todos los aldeanos se despertaron y vieron toda la operación.
Temprano en la mañana, los aldeanos salieron al lugar (donde todo sucedió) y vieron en el Suelo un óvalo quemado en el Suelo con pino aserrado en el centro (todavía está en ese lugar) y trozos de metal muy pequeños y trozos de alambre alrededor del árbol.
Algunas personas, como Argiris Alevantas, han recogido algunas de estas dilaciones. ¡Un pensamiento extraño fue que a lo largo de los bordes del óvalo quemado, el fuego se detuvo como si hubiera sido cortado con un cuchillo!
Unas horas más tarde, un grupo de soldados de la fuerza aérea griega llegó a la zona y les dijo a los aldeanos que no había nada serio en esto, ¡un satélite o avión soviético podría haberse estrellado! También tomaron varias partes del OVNI y abandonaron el área.
Argiris Alevantas envió una parte del OVNI al Instituto de investigación espacial en Bruselas, y le respondieron que este objeto definitivamente venía del espacio.

Here is the story of the UFO crash near the village of Megas Platanos in Central Greece on September 2, 1990:
About 03.00 hours that night, shepherds and some villagers observed a small group of 5 – 6 UFOs approaching the area from the North. One of them had an unstable flight and seemed to be with a problem. Strange lights came out of UFO’s fuselage, but without any noise.
As an eyewitness, shepherd Trantos Karatranjos, told me, suddenly the troubled UFO lost altitude and crashed to the ground at a distance of about 500 meters away from him. He didn’t hear any noise but a fire started burning the bushes. Trantos Karatranjos was very afraid to get closer and stayed in his position watching the phenomenon.
The rest of the UFOs in this group stopped over the “accident” spot and 2 of them landed near the destroyed UFO. In a few minutes the fire in the bushes was terminated (probably the crew of the landed UFOs stopped the fire). For the rest of the night, till dawn, there was an unusual traffic from the ground to the flying UFOs. Light spots (something like small space rafts??) went up and down, probably collecting the pieces of the destroyed UFO and the bodies(?) of the crew. They finished the collection before sunrise and after that the rest of UFOs took off and were lost in the sky!
Meanwhile all the villagers had been awakened and had seen the whole operation.
Early in the morning the villagers went out to the spot (where all of this occurred) and they saw on the ground a burned oval shape in the ground with a cut pine tree in the center (it is still in this place); and very small metallic pieces and pieces of wires around the tree. Some of the the people, like Argyris Alevantas, collected a number of these pieces. One strange think was that at the edges of the burned oval the fire stopped like it had been cut by knife!
Some hours later a team of Hellenic Air Force personnel came in the area and told the villagers that this was nothing serious, maybe a Soviet satellite crashed or a plane! They took some pieces of the UFO too and left the area.
Argyris Alevantas sent a piece of the UFO to the Space Research Institute in Brussels and they replied to him that the item came definitely from space!
