Un testigo regresaba a casa en automóvil cuando notó algo inusual en sus faros a una distancia del lado derecho de la carretera, a unos 80 metros de la pasarela. Se parecían a las figuras de dos niños jugando en el camino, lo cual era muy inusual para la época.
A medida que el testigo se acercaba, se hizo evidente que lo que él creía que eran niños no estaba allí. Había dos figuras inexpresivas, largas, encorvadas y con forma de palo de unos cuatro pies de altura.
Tenían brazos largos y delgados que se extendían hacia el Suelo, piernas largas y delgadas y un cuerpo muy delgado que no parecía más ancho que 20 cm de diámetro. No tenían rasgos faciales y vestían un traje negro oscuro de una pieza que cubría todos sus cuerpos, incluida su cabeza. Cuando el automóvil del testigo se acercó a una distancia de aproximadamente 15 metros, el testigo notó que se asustaron al ver el automóvil. En ese momento, corrieron a gran velocidad por delante del automóvil.
El testigo se asustó al darse cuenta de que lo que vio era completamente extraño por naturaleza. Se aceleró mirando al espejo retrovisor, notando que las figuras se habían trasladado al patio de la casa en el lado opuesto de la calle. Sorprendido, el testigo se apresuró a casa y pasó una noche sin dormir reflexionando sobre lo que había sucedido.
Al día siguiente, el testigo regresó al lugar para mirar a su alrededor, pero no notó nada malo.

The witness was returning home by car when he noticed something unusual in his headlights in the distance on the right hand side of the road, on a footpath about 80 meters away. It resembled the figures of two children playing on the footpath, which was very unusual given the time. As the witness approached it became obvious that what the witness thought were children were not. There were two featureless, long, hunched, stick-like figures about 4 ft tall in height. They had long skinny arms stretching to the ground, long skinny legs and a very skinny body, which looked no wider than 20cm in diameter. They had no facial features and appeared to be wearing a dark one-piece body suit, black in color, which covered their whole bodies including their heads. As the car of the witness closed in to about 15 meters, the witness noticed that they appeared to become frightened upon seeing the vehicle. At that instant they scurried across in front of the car at great speed. The witness became scared realizing that what he had seen had been totally alien in nature. He accelerated looking into the rearview mirror noticing that the figures had crossed into the front yard of a house on the opposite side of the street. Shaken, the witness sped home and spent a sleepless night pondering over what had occurred. The next day the witness returned to the area to check around but noted nothing untoward.
