Datos iniciales
Un OVNI en forma de triángulo con muchas luces sobre el océano Caribe, vista desde un crucero. El siguiente es un informe sobre la observación real de Ovnis desde el balcón de un crucero en el Caribe en 2002. No estoy seguro de por qué esperé tanto tiempo para presentar este informe, pero una vez que fui un ardiente escéptico de la mayoría de las historias de Ovnis, todo cambió a fines de la noche de verano en el océano Atlántico.
Entonces, aunque llegué tarde, aquí está mi historia:
El 27 de agosto de 2002, mientras viajaba a bordo del crucero Carnival Pride, me desperté de un sueño profundo y me encontré extrañamente sentado en el borde de la cama, frente al patio de nuestra cabina. Las cortinas estaban cerradas. No sé qué me hizo despertar de mi sueño, y no puedo explicar qué me motivó a salir al balcón privado de la cabina esa madrugada. Eran aproximadamente las 2:30 de la noche. Cuando salí al balcón, me acerqué a la barandilla del balcón.
Nuestro barco estaba a unas 200 millas de la costa, y su primera parada fue en Half Moon Kay, una isla privada de Carnival. Nuestra cabina estaba ubicada en el lado izquierdo de la nave, mirando hacia el oeste, y se movía hacia el sur.
A primera vista, me atrajo la proa de la nave, ya que la Luna era visible a través de una pequeña montaña de nubes. La iluminación de la Luna en cascada inundó el agua azul oscuro y clara debajo. Luego miré hacia arriba, mirando directamente a babor.
Para mi asombro, noté un grupo muy grande de luces multicolores. Una luz parecía muy brillante y blanca en el centro, mientras que una serie de luces individuales más pequeñas de azul, verde y rojo la rodeaban. No puedo estar seguro, pero parecía que su forma era triangular. Supongo que estaba a unos 70 grados del horizonte y su escala, aunque es difícil de determinar, habría cerrado el puño Calvo a la distancia del brazo. Sobre la base de esta definición, me doy cuenta de que este objeto era muy grande y probablemente cercano. No se movía ni hacía ningún sonido. Simplemente estaba flotando. Una nube de niebla muy ligera cerró alrededor del 25% del objeto visible.
Mi cerebro tardó unos minutos en registrar lo que vio. Miró durante unos 10 segundos. ¡Estaba aturdido! Definitivamente no era un avión. También es poco probable que fuera un helicóptero, especialmente dada la distancia de la tierra.
Debo admitir que, a pesar del estado inicial de shock, estaba muy orgulloso de mí mismo, ya que inmediatamente me di cuenta de la rareza de este cumplimiento y rápidamente tomé medidas. Se me ha registrado que solo una foto o un video de este objeto me liberará de cualquier decoración si decido compartir este increíble espectáculo con otro.
Entonces, dentro de 7-9 segundos, ocurrieron las siguientes acciones: recordé rápidamente que había dejado nuestra bolsa de cámara justo afuera de la puerta del patio, en el piso, lejos del pasillo de tráfico normal. Los pequeños espacios de nuestra cabina lo convirtieron en un lugar lógico para guardar cosas. Casualmente, esto también me ofrecerá la distancia más corta en la búsqueda de cámaras y la toma de fotografías de este objeto. Cuando me di la vuelta para abrir la puerta, puse un pie en nuestra cabina y el otro en el exterior, manteniendo así la puerta abierta. Alcancé nuestra cámara de video y, cuando me retiré nuevamente a la barandilla abierta del balcón, abrí el cuerpo de la lente y activé la cámara al mismo tiempo. Es por eso que me refiero a un marco de tiempo de 7-9 segundos.
¿Por qué es importante? Esto quedará muy claro en mi mensaje.
Cuando giré la cámara hacia arriba y hacia el sujeto, para mi horror extremo, desapareció. Simplemente desapareció. No podía creerlo. Solo pasaron unos segundos. Sin embargo, eso no me detuvo. En la distancia noté una luz muy débil pero brillante. Al principio pensé que podría ser un planeta como Marte, que, según recuerdo, era claramente visible en el cielo occidental en esa época del año. Aún así, decidí acercarme y filmarlo si fuera algo que había visto con total asombro unos segundos antes, ¡y veinte veces más!
Grabé casi dos minutos de video. Usé un tapón para asegurar la cámara. Aunque entiendo que una cámara digital ampliada a un rango casi infinito puede causar pixelación cuadrada y que algunos objetos iluminados como fuente pueden producir imágenes falsas, como el efecto arco iris con el parpadeo de luces multicolores; lo que vi fue muy diferente. Parecía que tenía una sola imagen de luz contrarrestada por la aparición inesperada en la parte posterior de una segunda (otra) luz de color. Luego la tercera luz de color.
No creo que Marte reaccione de esa manera. En ese momento, sentí que había grabado suficiente película para justificar convincentemente algo claramente no identificado como nada más que un objeto volador inexplicable y no identificado (OVNI). Es hora de despertar a mi esposa.
Dejando a nuestros dos hijos dormidos, pronto agregaría un segundo par de ojos para una prueba de cordura para ver si lo estoy imaginando todo en su totalidad. Entré en nuestra cabaña y la desperté. A pesar de su somnolencia, ella, como un buen soldado, flotó conmigo en el balcón para agregar al menos un testigo a esta observación. Mientras ella manejaba los binoculares (de la mujer), seguí filmando el objeto. Y nuevamente, mucho más claramente, el objeto rojo se hundió debido a un objeto más grande y brillante, como si estuviera flotando o girando a su alrededor.
El misterio se volvió aún más extraño, ya que unos minutos después de la observación, de repente apareció un grupo de tres barcos flotando en el agua en la distancia. Sé que no estaban allí antes. Después de que los descubrí, mi película muestra al menos uno de ellos flotando en la superficie.
En conclusión, solo puedo asumir lo siguiente: ¿tenía (lo que fuera) algún tipo de inteligencia artificial que lo marcó sobre mi presencia en la cubierta? Si es así, ¿reaccionó a una velocidad increíble (como he escuchado en otras ocasiones) para evitar una imagen de la cámara de video que claramente podría competir con la que finalmente tomé? Para lograr esto, tal vez a una distancia de 1 a 2 millas en lugar de una distancia de 20 millas? Nunca lo sabré.
¿Y qué importancia tuvo la aparición inesperada en el océano de tres pequeños barcos? Adjunté instantáneas o imágenes del video que tomé. Dejé el video para mí. En el momento de escribir este artículo, después de 4 años y medio, solo 6-7 personas conocen nuestro encuentro con Ovnis.

Summary: Multi-light triangle shaped UFO over Caribbean Ocean, as viewed from a cruise ship. The following is an account of a real UFO sighting from the balcony of a cruise ship in the Caribbean in 2002. I’m not sure why I have waited this long to file this report, but once an ardent skeptic of most UFO tales, everything changed on a late summer night in the Atlantic Ocean. So although late in arriving, here is my story: On August 27, 2002, while cruising aboard the ship Carnival Pride, I woke up from a deep sleep, only to find myself oddly sitting on the edge of the bed, facing our cabin’s patio door. The drapes were drawn. I do not know what alerted me to arise from my sleep, nor can I explain what prompted me to go out onto the cabins private balcony that early morning. It was approximately 2:30 am. As I stepped out onto the balcony, I moved forward to the balcony railing. Our ship was roughly 200 miles out from land, with the first destination stop, being Half Moon Cay, Carnival’s private island. Our cabin was positioned on the port side of the ship, facing west, traveling in a southerly direction.
At first glance I was drawn to the front of ship, as the moon was out and nearly visible through a small bank of clouds. The illumination of the moon cascaded over the dark blue pristine waters below. Then I proceeded to glance upwards, staring straight port side. To my amazement I spotted a very large cluster of multicolored lights. One light appeared to be very bright and white at its center, while a series of smaller individual lights of blue, green and red surrounded it. I can’t be sure, but it appeared very much as if its shape were triangular. My best guess is that it was approximately 70 degrees off horizon and its scale, although difficult to determine would have covered a bald fist at arms length. By this determination, I gather that this object was very large and probably close. It did not move or make a sound. It merely hovered. A very slight misty cloud obscured about 25% of the visible object. It took a few minutes for my brain to register what it was seeing. I watched it for about 10 seconds. I was stunned! It definitely was not a plane. It was also unlikely a helicopter, especially given the distance from any land mass. I must admit, despite the initial state of shock, I was quite proud of myself, in that I immediately recognized the rare nature of this observance and quickly took action. It registered with me, that only a photo or a video of this object, would exonerate me of any embellishment, should I choose to share this unbelievable sight with another. So the following actions occurred within the frame work of 7-9 seconds: I quickly remembered I had left our camera bag, just inside the patio door, on the floor, out of the way of the normal traffic aisle. The small quarters of our cabin made this a logical storage place. Coincidentally, it would also offer me the shortest distance in retrieving the cameras and film this object. As I turned to open the door, I placed one foot inside our cabin, keeping my other foot outside, thereby propping the door open. I reached in for our video camera and as I backpedaled to the open balcony railing again, I opened the lens case, activated the camera, all at the same time. This is why I reference the time frame of 7-9 seconds. Why is this important? It will become perfectly clear with my next testimonial.
As I swung the camera upwards and toward the direction of the object, to my utter dismay, it was gone. It had simply vanished. I couldn’t believe it. Only a few seconds had passed. I was however, not deterred. I noticed off in the distance, a very small but bright light. At first I thought it might be a planet, such as Mars, which as I recall, was highly visible in the Western sky at that time of the year. I still decided to zoom in and film it, in the event it might have been what I watched in total astonishment a few seconds earlier, and twenty-times larger! I took nearly two minutes of video. I used the railing cap to steady my camera. While I realize, that a digital camera, zoomed to a near infinite range, can cause square pixilation’s and that some subjects, illuminating brightly as a source, can create false images, such as a rainbow effect with twinkles of various colored lights; what I saw, was something far different. It seemed to have a single image of light, countered by the surprise emergence of a second (different) colored light from behind. Then a third colored light. I don’t think Mars would react that way. At that point, I felt I had recorded a sufficient amount of tape to make a convincing case for something obviously unidentified as nothing short of an unexplained, unidentified flying object (UFO). It was now time to wake up my wife. While keeping our two children sleeping, I would soon add a second set of eyes, in a sanity check, to see if I was imagining the whole thing. I went inside our cabin and awoke her. Despite her groggy state, like a good trooper, she trudged out on the balcony with me, to add an equal witness to this sighting. While she manned (woman) a set of binoculars, I continued to film the subject. Once again and much more clearly, a red object immerged from behind the larger brighter object, as if hovering or orbiting around it.
The mystery only became more bizarre, as within minutes of the sighting, a group of three ships floating on the water, off in the distance, suddenly appeared. I know for certain that they were not there before. After discovering them, my film shows at least one of them floating on the surface. To conclude, I can only surmise the following: Did (what ever it was) possess some artificial intelligence that flagged it of my observing presence on deck? If so, did it react by speeding away at an incredible rate (as I’ve heard of, in other cases) to avoid a video camera image that clearly would have rivaled the one I eventually captured? To film it at maybe 1-2 miles away vs. perhaps 20 miles? I’ll never know. And what significance did the surprise appearance of three smaller vessels on the ocean have to do with this experience. I have enclosed snapshot pictures or frames of the video I shot. I have kept the video to myself. As of this writing, after 4 ½ years, only 6-7 other people know of our UFO encounter.
