Las tres mujeres jóvenes regresaron de la fogata y la fiesta en el pueblo y terminaron de devolver parte del equipo y las sillas al granero. Cuando regresaron a la camioneta, una de las chicas vio la figura un poco alejada de la calzada de la casa. Ella gesticuló a los demás para que la miraran y, un poco asustada, se dirigió de regreso a la ciudad.
Describieron la figura como similar a una persona, de color claro o vestida con ropa blanca. Pronto se dirigieron a la hoguera que aún ardía. De repente, a la luz de los faros, todos vieron algo similar a dos filas separadas de criaturas o figuras. Tal vez 15 en cada fila, aproximadamente 3 a 4 pies (0.9-1.2 m) de altura y de pie a solo 15 pies (4.5 m) de ellos, justo en frente del automóvil.
Una testigo describió que tenían "cabezas brillantes de Navidad" y que las cabezas estaban conectadas al cuerpo, pero no podía averiguar exactamente cómo. Sus manos estaban levantadas, pero ella no vio las manos. Ella dice que eran como palos, de color gris oscuro o marrón. No se movieron y se quedaron completamente quietos. Terminaron congelados en dos filas separadas.
Las dos chicas lloraron y gritaron que el conductor abandonara el lugar de inmediato. Horrorizados, abandonaron el área y condujeron durante aproximadamente 2 horas antes de reunir el coraje para regresar a sus hogares.

Summary: Three young women returning from a bonfire and party in the countryside and had finished returning some of the equipment and chairs to the shed. As they got back into the van one of the girls saw a figure standing a little off the drive-way by the house. She motioned the others to look at it and becoming somewhat afraid headed back into town. They described the figure as man-like, light colored or wearing white clothing. Soon they headed over to the bonfire, which was still burning. Suddenly in the glow of the headlights they all saw what appeared to be two separate rows of creatures or figures. Maybe 15 to each row and about approximately 3 to 4 ft tall and standing only about 15 ft from them, directly in front of the car. One of the witnesses described them as having “Christmas light heads” and that the heads were connected to the body but she couldn’t see how. Their arms were up, but she couldn’t see hands. She says they were stick-like, dark gray or brown in color. They did not move and stood perfectly still. They appeared to be frozen in two separate rows. Two of the girls began to cry and screamed for the driver to leave the area immediately. Terrified they drove away from the area and drove around for about 2 hours before having the courage to return back to their homes.
