El testigo conducía hacia el trabajo, dirigiéndose hacia el Norte hacia el pueblo de New Miami en Seven Mile Avenue.
Se desvió de un semáforo en el extremo sur de la ciudad y se dirigió a un tramo oscuro de la carretera cuando una gran criatura voladora voló sobre su automóvil y se agarró como un animal de un centro comercial en la carretera frente a su faro. Como constructor, sintió que podía estimar bastante bien el Tamaño de los objetos.
La criatura tenía una envergadura de al menos 12 pies (3,6 m) y era negro carbón. Bloqueó completamente la vista de su parabrisas y luego de alguna parte, y se movió a una velocidad muy alta.
Iba a 35-40 mph, y se suponía que iba a 70-80 mph.
Según un testigo, investigó grandes aves rapaces y depredadores nativos de Ohio y no hay ninguno que coincida con la descripción de lo que vio.

The witness was on his way to work headed north bound into the village of New Miami on Seven Mile Avenue. He left the traffic light at the southern most edge of town in to a dark stretch of road when a large flying creature swooped over his car and snatched up as mall animal in the road ahead of him at the edge of his headlights. As a construction worker, he felt that he could judge the size of objects fairly well. The creature had a wing span of at least 12 feet and was jet black. It completely blocked the view out of his windshield and then some and moved at a very high speed. He was traveling between 35-40 mph and it had to have been traveling at around 70-80 mph. according to the witness he researched large predator birds and raptors indigenous to Ohio and there are none that fit the description of what he saw.
