El testigo principal y su novia estaban buscando jade en la playa de Sand Dollar y se quedaron allí después de la puesta del sol, por lo que estaba oscuro cuando subieron las escaleras mirando al océano y notaron una extraña luz blanca brillante.
Su novia pensó que eran los faros de un auto que se aproximaba con la carretera sobre ellos. Pero él le informó que la carretera ya estaba detrás, y luego la luz desapareció. Apareció de nuevo, se volvió más brillante y parpadeó de blanco a azul, luego a rojo. No quería irse, pero tenían un viaje de dos horas a Monterey Bay.
Continuaron su camino hacia un camino de tierra oscura. Estaban realmente asustados y él estaba sosteniendo a su novia en la parte posterior de su camisa. Luego vieron una linterna brillando a través de los árboles y alguien corriendo hacia ellos por el camino con la luz aleatoria de un reflector. A medida que se acercaba, parecía un sombrero minero con un foco blanco brillante. Luego, ambos se dieron cuenta de que no era una persona y que quería comunicarse.
Habló con él y dijo:
"¡No entiendo lo que intentas decirnos porque no eres humano y no hablas nuestro idioma!»
Luego se acercó y se convirtió en un Boomerang/triángulo con un foco blanco brillante. Comenzó a tocar el Suelo con los filamentos blancos de los tentáculos que colgaban de él y comenzó a tomar una forma humana. Entonces los tres puntos del triángulo se materializaron en tres seres y tres luces.
La luz blanca se convirtió en un animal, la luz azul se convirtió en una mujer con un largo cabello negro con un vestido azul y la luz roja se convirtió en un hombre con un atuendo rojo. Les preguntaron si eran amistosos, pero una vez que tomaron la forma humana y cayeron al Suelo, inmediatamente corrieron hacia los testigos a una velocidad muy alta. Pensando que eran hostiles, los testigos comenzaron a orar con la oración "padre nuestro", etc., y en un momento las figuras desaparecieron.
Los testigos no estaban seguros de si eran extraterrestres o espíritus.

The main witness and his girlfriend were jade hunting at Sand Dollar Beach and had stayed after sunset so it was dark when they headed up the stairs looking out at the ocean and noticed a strange hovering bright white light. His girlfriend thought it was oncoming car lights from the highway up above them. But he informed her that the highway was behind them and the light then darted away. It reappeared and got brighter and blinked from white to blue, to red. He was reluctant to leave, but they had a two hour drive ahead of them back to Monterey Bay. Once the staircase ended they continued up to the dark dirt trail. They were really scared and he held his girlfriend by the back of her shirt. They then saw a flashlight shining through the trees and someone jogging down the trail towards them with a spotlight shining randomly. As it got closer it looked like a miner’s hat with a bright white spotlight. They both then realized that it wasn’t human and it wanted to communicate. He spoke to it and said, ‘I don’t understand what you are trying to say to us, because you’re not human and don’t speak our language!” Then it got closer and it turned into a boomerang/triangle with a bright white spotlight. It started to touch down with white tentacle strings hanging from it and started to take human form. That’s when the three points of the triangle materialized into three beings and three lights. The white light turned into an animal, the blue light turned into a lady with long black hair wearing a blue dress, and the red light turned into a man in a red outfit. They asked them if they were friendly, but the moment they had taken human form and hit the ground they immediately rushed towards the witnesses at very high speed. Thinking that they were not friendly, the witnesses began praying the Lord’s Prayer, etc and within an instant the figures had disappeared. The witnesses were not sure if these were aliens or spirits.
