El testigo, que estudió en la Universidad de Chicago, decidió tomarse un merecido descanso y, junto con su novia, salió a disfrutar del clima inusualmente cálido.
Mientras caminaban hacia un parque público cerca del campus, hablaron sobre sus actividades cuando la agitación entre un grupo de personas llamó su atención. Cuando miraron a un grupo de 4-5 personas, algo llamó su atención y miró hacia arriba y vio a la criatura volando sobre su cabeza.
Era como un hombre con alas. Voló de 10 a 12 pies (3-3,6 m) sobre ellos, y su silueta se elevó perfectamente contra el cielo de la tarde. Los ojos de la figura se iluminaron de rojo. Miraron durante unos 4 segundos hasta que desapareció de la vista.

Summary: The witness, who was attending the University of Chicago, had decided to take a well-deserved break and along with his girlfriend went out to enjoy the unusually warm weather that they were having. As they walked toward a community park near the campus, they were talking about their classes when a commotion amongst a group of people caught their attention. As they looked towards the group of about 4-5 something caught his eye and he looked up to see a creature flying overhead. It looked like a man with wings. He flew about 10-12 feet above them and was perfectly silhouetted against the evening sky. The eyes of the figure glowed red. They watched for about 4 seconds until it disappeared from view.
