La testigo viajaba al trabajo, era temprano y estaba completamente oscuro mientras conducía por una calle tranquila junto al lago.
De repente vio a un grupo de luces blancas brillantes que al principio pensó que era un helicóptero. Al acercarse, se dio cuenta de que era un objeto de forma triangular con luces blancas en las esquinas y una luz roja intermitente en la parte posterior. El objeto estaba a solo 200 pies (60 m) en el aire y simplemente colgaba allí.
Estaba completamente tranquilo cuando bajó las ventanas del automóvil, acercándose a la ubicación del objeto. No se escucharon ruidos, ni pájaros, ni insectos, como si el aire "no se moviera".
Cuando se acercó a la instalación, comenzó a girar y nadó lentamente hacia el lago. Estaba nerviosa al acercarse al objeto porque tenía que pasar por debajo para continuar.
Ella estacionó su auto y simplemente miró el objeto mientras él se alejaba, aunque no podía recordar cómo se había ido. Simplemente vio que no estaba y se dio cuenta de que habían pasado 17 minutos (cuando vio el objeto por primera vez, el reloj mostró 5:48, y cuando se dio cuenta de que el objeto había desaparecido, eran 6:05).
Se sentía aturdida y confundida y no podía entender lo que había sucedido. Ella fue a trabajar e inmediatamente comenzó a dibujar lo que vio. Casi se sentía obsesionada con tener que escribir en papel lo que había visto. También sintió la necesidad de pararse afuera como si pensara que volvería.

Summary: The witness was driving to work, it was early and it was completely dark as she drove on a quiet street by the lake. She suddenly saw a cluster of bright white lights which at first she thought it was a helicopter. As she got closer she realized it was a triangular-shaped object with white lights at the corners and a red blinking light in the back. The object was only maybe 200 feet in the air and just hovered there. It was completely silent she rolled down her car windows as she approached the location of the object. There was not a noise to be heard, no birds, insects, as if the air ‘wasn’t moving’. As she drove toward the object it began to turn and slowly began to drift away toward the lake. She felt nervous approaching the object because she had to drive under it to continue driving. She parked her car and just stared at the object while it moved away although she couldn’t remember actually leave. She just saw that it was gone and realized that 17 minutes had passed. When she first saw the object the clock said 5:48am, and when she realized that the object had gone it was 6:05am. She felt dazed and distracted and couldn’t place what had happened. She went to work and immediately began to draw what she had seen. She almost felt obsessed with having to put down on paper what she had seen. She also felt the need to stand outside like she thought it was coming back.
