Mi experiencia ocurrió en el otoño de 2007. En ese momento, vivía en una zona rural en el sur de Virginia.
Olvidé enviar una carta por correo la mañana antes de la escuela. La carta era urgente, así que en lugar de dejarla en el buzón, decidí ir a la oficina de correos esa misma noche. La oficina de correos estaba a solo una milla de mi casa, pero todavía estaba en el campo, no en la ciudad.
Eran alrededor de las 10 P. m.cuando llegué y estaba a punto de poner la carta en una Caja de recolección azul. Cuando pospuse la carta, la luz del Sensor de movimiento se encendió fuera de la ventana de la oficina y encendí todo el espacio. A unos 50 metros (45 m) detrás de la oficina de correos hay un antiguo edificio abandonado justo detrás de la línea de árboles.
No tengo idea de lo que era antes, pero es muy grande y ha estado abandonado durante al menos 20 años. En la puerta del edificio, vi la silueta de un hombre parado allí. Dado el vecindario en el que vivo, pensé que era solo un buen chico que tenía demasiados.
Tenía 17 años, pensé que lo asustaría, me acercaría al edificio y encendería la luz de carretera. Cuando estaba a 30 yardas del edificio, tenía el pelo en el cuello y los brazos. Estaba abrumado por una sensación irresistible de miedo. La sensación es casi indescriptible, como si estuviera mirando el cañón de un arma cargada. Decidí detenerme y simplemente encender la luz de carretera allí. Cuando lo hice, vi una figura muy pálida.
Era bajo, de unos cinco pies (1,5 m), con el pelo muy largo como el alquitrán y, a veces en un vestido rojo oscuro. No tenía rasgos faciales. Se veía muy bien cuando estaba sentada y mirando. Nunca se movió y nunca admitió que estaba allí. Por lo que pude ver, nunca hice ningún sonido.
Su piel era tan pálida, sin manchas ni marcas. Lo llamo muñeca de porcelana. He vuelto varias veces a lo largo de los años, pero nunca lo he visto de nuevo. Todavía no puedo explicar de qué se trataba y espero no volver a experimentar ese sentimiento.

Summary: My experience took place in the fall of 2007. I lived in a somewhat rural area of southern Virginia at the time. I had forgotten to place a letter in the mail before school in the morning. The letter was urgent so rather than leaving it in the mailbox I decided to drive to the post office that night. The post office was only a mile from my home but it was still in a rural area and not inside a town. It was around 10:00 PM when I arrived and I was getting out to place the letter in the blue collection box. The motion sensor lights outside the office flicked on as I deposited my letter and lit up the area. 50 or so yards behind the post office is an old abandoned building just outside the treeline. I have no idea what it use to be but it’s very large and has been abandoned for at least 20 years. Inside the doorway of the building I saw the outline of a person standing there. Given the area I live in I figured it was just some good ole’ boy that had one too many. Being 17 at the time I figured I would give him a scare and get close to the building and flick the high beams on. As I got within 30 yards of the building all the hair on my neck and arms stood on end. I was filled with the most overwhelming sense of dread. The feeling is almost indescribable it was as if I was staring down the barrel of a loaded gun. I decided to stop and just flick on my high beams there. When I did I was met with the sight of an extremely pale figure. It was short around 5 foot or so, very long jet black hair and some time of dark red dress. It had no facial features whatsoever. I got a very good look as I sat there just staring before I booked it as fast as I could. It never moved and never acknowledged I was there. As far as I could tell never made a sound. Its skin was so pale and had no blemishes or markings. So I refer to it as the porcelain doll. I have been back various times over the years but I never saw it again. I still cannot explain what this thing was and I hope to never have that feeling again.”
