Un testigo acaba de apagar las luces para irse a la cama. Su border Collie, un pastor australiano, comenzó a ladrar. Ella pensó que tal vez era un mapache o una mofeta en su patio trasero. Tiene 30 patos, tres gallinas y una cabra en su patio trasero. Entonces, los perros también hicieron ruido.
Cuando entró en la sala de estar y encendió las luces en el exterior de la Terraza, primero miró hacia atrás donde estaban los patos y, de repente, una extraña criatura subió a la cubierta en el segundo escalón. Su perro se volvió loco y miró en la dirección en la que se encontraba a unos cuatro pies (1,2 m) de distancia. Ella lo miró, tratando de averiguar qué era.
Él también la miraba. Tenía ojos negros, una verdadera cara delgada y se veía muy viejo. Tenía el pelo largo negro y plateado que bajaba por la espalda y no podía ver sus piernas. Parecía una especie de criatura. Luego, después de mirar al testigo durante unos 30 segundos, retrocedió y saltó hacia atrás como un Canguro. Todo el tiempo que la miraba, saltando sobre su valla Norte, luego desapareció.
La testigo no se asustó, pero no salió porque no sabía lo que era. La testigo pensó que lo que vio era un "ser inteligente".

Summary: The witness had just turned off the lights to go to sleep. Her border Collie-Australian shepherd started barking. She thought maybe it was a raccoon or skunk in her backyard. She has 30 ducks, three hens, and a goat, all in her backyard. So the dogs were quacking also. When she went to the living room and flipped on the outside deck light, she looked first back where the ducks were and all of a sudden there stood a strange creature on her second step coming up the deck. Her dog was going crazy and looking in the direction where it stood about four feet away. She stared at it, trying to make out what it was. It stared back at her as well. It had black eyes a real thin face and it looked very old. It had black and silver long hair going down its back and she couldn’t see its legs. It looked like some type of creature. Then after it stared at the witness for about 30 seconds, it moved back and it leapt backwards, like a kangaroo. The whole time it was looking at her as it hopped over to her northern fence, it then disappeared. The witness was not frightened but she did not go outside because she didn’t know what it was. The witness thought that what she had seen was an “intelligent being”.
