El testigo principal y su amigo will viajaban en el auto de will a su casa en una ciudad al sur de Albuquerque.
Al acercarse a 10 millas de sus hogares, vieron una extraña figura plateada en el cielo. Pensó que era solo humo de la chimenea hasta que se acercaron a él. Frenaron y bajaron las ventanas para sacar la cabeza y ver mejor.
El objeto parecía sólido y tenía una apariencia negra Lisa; el aspecto plateado era como el polvo que flotaba alrededor de la nave principal negra. Entonces se volvió realmente extraño.
Parpadeó, y cuando los abrió, estaban en la carretera cerca de una estación de Servicio a aproximadamente un Cuarto de milla de donde deberían haber estado. Estaba confundido porque no recordaba a will conduciendo desde el lado de la carretera donde miraban un objeto flotante.
Lo miró y dijo:
"¿ Me quedé dormido?»
Él respondió:
"¿Qué?»
Y luego miró a su alrededor tan aturdido como él mismo. Dio la vuelta al auto y se dirigió de regreso al lugar donde vieron el objeto. Ya no estaba. Condujeron a la tienda y caminaron por el estacionamiento tratando de averiguar qué había sucedido. Ambos sintieron dolor como si sus músculos del cuello estuvieran tensos antes.
Luego recordó su Reproductor de CD portátil, escucharon el Reproductor de CD portátil a través de un adaptador en el automóvil. Cuando vieron el objeto, apagaron la Radio, pero no el Reproductor. La Última pista que recordó fue la pista 3. Sacó el Reproductor de debajo del asiento y terminó muerto.
Puso pilas nuevas y todo funcionó desde el momento en que se encendió hasta que se apagó la electricidad. Fue en la pista 7. Así que perdieron al menos 13 minutos de tiempo.

Summary: The main witness and his friend ‘Will’ were in Will’s car driving home in this town just south of Albuquerque. As they were getting within 10 miles of their homes they saw a weird silvery shape in the sky. He thought it was just smoke from a fireplace until they got really close to it. They slowed down and rolled down the windows to stick their heads out and get a better look. The object seemed to be solid and had a sleek, black-looking exterior; the silver look was like a dust that was floating around the main black craft. Then it got really weird. He blinked his eyes and when he opened them they were on the road by a gas station about a quarter mile away from where they should’ve been. He was confused because he didn’t remember Will driving from the shoulder of the road where they were looking at the floating object. He looked at him and said, “Did I fall sleep?” He responded “What?” and then looked around as dazed as he was. He turned the car around and headed back to the spot where they saw the object. It wasn’t there anymore. They drove to the store and walked around in the parking lot trying to figure out what happened. They both felt sore, like their neck muscles had been tensed really tight earlier. Then he remembered his portable CD player, they had been listening to the portable CD player through an adapter in the car. When they saw the object, they turned the radio off, but not the player. The last track he remembered hearing was track 3. He pulled the player out from under the seat and it was dead. He popped fresh batteries in and it started from the point it was on before the power went out. It was on track 7. So they had experienced at least 13 minutes of lost time.
