Forma de V sobre Afganistán. Cuando estaba de Servicio en la guardia de ((eliminado)) a ((eliminado)) horas, miré las montañas del Norte a las 2 AM y vi salir de este a oeste; se detuvo a las 12 pm.
Salí corriendo de la torre con mi NVG (gafas de visión nocturna). Cuando llegué a la torre, el objeto ya no estaba allí. Miré de cerca el terreno y noté que el objeto salía de un giro en la orilla izquierda y se dirigía hacia mí. Las montañas están a unas 2 millas de distancia, y flotó sobre nuestra base de observación avanzada (FOB) en Afganistán.
Se detuvo sobre nuestra base y volvió de nuevo, apuntando hacia el Norte, y nadó hacia el oeste sobre un pequeño pueblo. Inmediatamente detrás del pueblo, se detuvo y luego voló sobre las montañas del Norte en una fracción de segundo. El objeto era 5 grandes luces en forma de V.
No pude ver el objeto,debido a la cubierta de nubes, pero se puede decir que era un objeto sólido con 5 luces. Además, era muy grande, ya que flotaba sobre la base, ¡puedo ver que era más grande que la base!
En una zona de guerra, ningún avión militar debe volar con los faros encendidos, y yo conozco todos nuestros aviones. Además, cuando el OVNI se cernía sobre la base, había una noche ventosa con una ráfaga de viento de 30 millas. Se detuvo y comenzó de nuevo cuando pasó.

Summary: V shape formation over Afghanistan While I was on guard duty, from ((deleted)) to ((deleted)) hrs., I looked up to the northern mountains at my 2:00 o’clock I saw a string of lights moving from east to west; it stopped at my 12:00 o’clock. I ran out of the tower with my NVG (night vision goggles). As I got to the outside of the tower the object was gone. I stared in the area and noticed that the object was coming out of a left bank turn heading towards me. The mountains are about 2 miles away, and it floated over our Forward Observation Base (F.O.B.) in Afghanistan. It stopped over our base and it spun around pointing north again it drifted west over a small village. Just past the village, it stopped then it just shot over the northern mountains in a split second. The object was 5 large lights in a V shape formation. I could not see the object, due to the cloud cover, but you can tell that it was one solid object with 5 lights. It was also very large as it hovered over the base, I can see that it was larger then the base! In a war zone no military air craft are to fly with lights on, and I know all of our aircrafts. Also, as the U.F.O was hovering over the base it was a windy night with gust of 30 miles. It had stopped and it started again as it passed.
