Un mensaje sobre un "huevo" volador sobre una carretera de Texas
LEVELLAND, Texas, 3 de noviembre (ARRIBA). Ayer por la noche, un objeto brillante en forma de huevo voló sobre el oeste de Texas y nuevo México. Un hombre dijo que lo vio en la carretera.
James A. Lee de Abilene, quien dijo que pasó veinte años estudiando "platillos voladores", dijo:
"Creo que es una nave espacial".
El Sr. Lee es miembro del Comité nacional de investigación de fenómenos aéreos.
También se informó que el objeto fue visto en las cercanías de Midland, a 110 millas al sur de Levelland, y Clovis, nuevo México, a unas setenta millas al noroeste de Levelland.
Jesse D. Long de Waco dijo que el objeto apagó el motor de su automóvil y se apagaron los faros. Otros dos automovilistas dijeron que hicieron lo mismo con sus autos.
Long dijo que la instalación tenía aproximadamente 200 pies de largo y aterrizó en la carretera frente a su automóvil. Dijo que cuando salió a investigar, la cosa se disparó.

Flying 'Egg' Reported over Texas Highway
LEVELLAND, Tex., Nov. 3 (UP) - A glowing egg-shaped object reportedly streaked over west Texas and New Mexico last night. One man said he saw it sitting on a highway.
James A. Lee of Abilene, who said he had spent twenty years studying "flying saucers," said, "I think it's a space craft."
Mr. Lee is a member of the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena.
The object was also reported seen in the vicinities of Midland, 110 miles south of Levelland, and Clovis, N.M., about seventy miles northwest of Levelland.
Jesse D. Long of Waco said the object had killed the engine of his automobile and put out the headlights. Two other motorists said it had done the same thing to their cars.
Mr. Long said the object appeard to be about 200 feet long and landed in the highway in front of his car. When he got out to investigate the thing took off straight up, he said.
