В Комиссию по АЯ пишет Ю.П. Ермоленко:

2 августа 1944, Ставропольский край, с. Подкумок (в 7 км от г. Кисловодска).

В этот день я пошел на р.Подкумок купаться. Выйдя из дому, я пошёл привычной дорогой через переезд на речку. Примерно около 11 часов, не доходя до склада овощей метров 50, я увидел, как мимо меня со стороны Кисловодска в 0,5 м пролетел небольшой пар диаметром не более 10 см ярко-оранжевого цвета, искрился. Я взглянул в сторону Кисловодска и увидел большой конусообразный, летящий до воздуху объект.

Я испугался и после короткого замешательства вернулся долой.
