La noche antes del incidente, Karen, de 12 años, tuvo un sueño brillante en el que regresó al lugar del primer incidente y encontró pequeñas figuras esperando por ella.
Parece que el sueño de alguna manera la devolvió a sus lugares anteriores. Ella regresó a su área de picnic y fue "capturada" por extrañas criaturas una vez más. Sintió sus pequeñas manijas tocando sus pies, levantándola como si fuera conducida a alguna parte.
Ella recuerda estar acostada sobre una mesa y experimentar un dolor insoportable en la frente.
De vuelta a casa, sufría de dolor de cabeza y fiebre alta, y por la noche estaba muy enferma. Un médico vino a verla y recuerda que dijo que tenía glándulas inflamadas.

It seems like the dream somehow propelled her back into her old haunts. She returned to the picnic site and was once again “taken up” by the strange entities. She could feel their little hands touching her legs, lifting her as if she was being guided somewhere. She remembers lying on a table and experiencing an agonizing pain centered on her forehead. Back home she suffered a headache and a high fever and was violently sick during the night. A doctor visited and she remembers him saying that her glands were inflamed.
