En 1978, ocurrió un caso en la URSS, que todavía se discute entre los ufólogos. No muy lejos de Perm había un campamento de pioneros para niños "Rainbow". Cada año, varios cientos de niños y niñas descansaban aquí.
Venían tanto de las ciudades y pueblos cercanos como de los lejanos. Larisa Goyvorova era nativa de San Petersburgo y, a los 15 años, visitó el "arco Iris" y se encontró en el centro de eventos extraños.
