El electricista de 45 años y veterano del ejército de los Estados Unidos compartió una historia escalofriante sobre lo que creía que era un encuentro con el escurridizo Bigfoot. El terrible evento ocurrió cuando Kelly Pillar acampó con familiares y amigos a lo largo de un camino forestal abandonado en el bosque nacional Gifford Pinchot, Washington, el 17 de julio de 2020.
Según Pilar, de 45 años, quien es originario de Montana y es un experimentado cazador de Bigfoot y amante de las actividades al aire libre, el "incidente principal" ocurrió alrededor de las 3 AM, cuando el grupo fue despertado por "un grito similar al de un Yeti". The harrowing event occurred while Kelly Stolp was camping with family and friends along an abandoned forest road in Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Washington, back on July 17, 2020.
According to Stolp, 45, who is from Montana and is a seasoned Sasquatch hunter and outdoorsman, the "founding incident" took place at around 3am when the group was startled awake by a "yeti-like scream." Sadly, rather than reach for a camera to capture an image of the elusive cryptid, the Montana native reached for his gun.
Speaking to Oregon Live, Stolp described the noise as a guttural "brat-tat-tat" sound and immediately felt fear but could not identify the source of the chilling sound. Although Stolp reached for his shotgun, the rest of the camp, including Mike Palagi, 38, an old Army buddy, and his fiancée, who had consumed a bottle of Pendleton whisky, were slow to respond.
The following night, at the same hour, they were reportedly disturbed by a similar unnerving croak. This time, the sober camp members, including Palagi and his fiancée, Olivia Corbin, claimed to hear the sound and feel heavy footsteps shaking the ground near their tent.
Palagi confessed to being "scared as hell," adding that the footsteps sounded bipedal, like that of a person, despite the bone-chilling croaks and groans.
Steeling their nerves, Stolp and his friend inspected the area but found no trace of the creature. After the experience, the group decided to keep it a secret, only shared with a trusted few, as Stolp was concerned about being perceived as insane. However, the pursuit of answers didn't end there.
Determined to investigate further, Tanner Hoskins, 31, a confidant of Stolp, established a website called the Pacific Northwest Bigfoot Search in August 2020, urging the public to report Sasquatch-related encounters. The platform quickly became inundated with over a hundred reports.
They included a report of similar sounds being heard by a sheriff's deputy near to the scene, as well as other sightings of a "hairy two-footed creature" by terrified Montana campers.
